Established in the year 2006 under the Act of State Legislature of Uttar Pradesh, Mohammad Ali Jauhar University is located in Rampur. The University offers various courses in Science, Humanities, Law, Education, Commerce, Engineering & Technology, Paramedical Sciences including Nursing, Mass Communication, and Agriculture.

Mohammad Ali Jauhar University Infrastructure Facilities:

The MAJU, Rampur campus is spread across more than 150 acres of vast lush green beautiful landscape. The library is a multistoried building which is located at the center of the University. The library has a magnificent structure with many journals, books, magazines, and about 6000 oriental books & manuscripts, and approximately 35,000 document/ volumes. The library has facilities like e-journals and e-books which can be accessed through DELNET. The Rabindranath Tagore Auditorium has the finest Architecture with seating for 478 people and has ultra-modern sound systems. There about 5 computer labs with more than 170 nodes with internet facility for students. Students are provided with various facilities such as Video Conferencing, Virtual Class Room, and Smart Classrooms. The Gymnasium is well-equipped with indoor game facilities like chess, badminton, table tennis & carom, and also students are encouraged in outdoor games like football, hockey, cricket, lawn tennis, volleyball, horse riding, etc.

They have separate hostels for boys and girls within the campus with good quality food. They have Hygienic Kitchen and Dining Hall where they provide good quality food, 24 hrs Reading rooms are available for the students who want to study overnight. There is a small Gym inside the Hostel and all types of indoor and outdoor games. Hot water facility for each and every room in the hostel and RO purifier with a water cooler on every floor of the hostel. The MAJU Facilities like Swimming pool, Gym, Health club, Auditorium, and open theater are present within the campus.
