The NID-Gandhinagar campus, situated in the capital of Gujarat, offers a full-time residential Master of Design (M.Des) program with seven specializations: Lifestyle Accessory Design, Apparel Design, New Media Design, Toy and Game Design, Photography Design, Strategic Design Management, and Transportation & Automobile Design.

NID GANDHINAGAR - COURSE & FEES

The fee structure for various programs at NID Gandhinagar ranges between INR 997,500 and INR 1,142,500. Candidates can pay the fee annually or semester-wise, based on the requirements specified during the NID Gandhinagar admissions process. Some fees, such as the one-time fee, are paid only once. To determine the annual or semester fee, students can divide the total fee by the course duration in years (for a yearly fee) or by twice the course duration (for a semester-wise fee).

NID GANDHINAGAR - ADMISSION

Admissions to NID Gandhinagar are based on entrance exams, specifically the Design Aptitude Test (DAT), which includes both the prelims and mains for MDes admission. As an autonomous institution under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, NID Gandhinagar serves as the postgraduate campus of NID, offering both postgraduate and research-level programs. The institute currently offers full-time, residential MDes courses. To apply, candidates must complete the application form available on the website and submit it, along with self-attested copies of their academic records, via courier to the main campus in Ahmedabad.
