NIT Manipur is an autonomous institute that was established in the year 2010. National Institute of Technology Manipur B.Tech admission will be decided based on JEE Main 2024 examination. JEE Main 2024 Result for Session 1 has been released on February 13, 2024. JEE Main Cutoff 2024 is the deciding factor. JoSAA Counselling 2024 registrations will commence on June 10, 2023 (tentative). 

The National Institute of Technology Manipur started its journey on 2nd August 2010 with only three branches of Engineering: electrical engineering, electronics & communication engineering, and computer science & engineering. The Institute has an intake of 150 students per year, of which 50% of seats are reserved for students from Manipur and the rest for students from other states. NIT Imphal has been approved by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD), Government of India. In 2023, it was ranked 95 among engineering colleges by NIRF.

NIT Manipur Admission

NIT Manipur admission 2024 is in process. NIT Manipur conducts admissions online. Admission for B.Tech programs is made based on the Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) score. Admissions to the M.Tech Programmes are made based on performance in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), and admissions to M.Sc. courses are made based on the IIT-JAM scores.

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have completed 10+2 with PCM. They must score at least 75% in HSC.
