Library: More than 1 lakh print books, more than 1.7 lacs ebooks (text and reference books), PhD theses, online journal archive collections, and online protocols are available at NIT Raipur library. It also has subscriptions to online databases and Indian print periodicals. LibSys7- Library management software has completely automated the central library. In the central library's reading room, an RFID system has been installed. It also offers a discovery service, remote access, and plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin Feedback Studio and URKUND. It serves the information and document needs of roughly 5000 users, including faculty, staff, students, and research scientists.
Hostel: The NIT Raipur hostel has separate accommodation facilities for girls and boys. Within the campus, there are 05 boys and 03 girls hostels. A total of 403 female and 1180 male inmates can be accommodated in each hostel. Each hostel is self-contained and includes amenities such as a leisure room, a dining hall with a mess, a badminton court, and a garden. All the hostel rooms are well-equipped. The chief warden, a senior faculty member, is in charge of the hostel administration. In addition, each hostel has a caretaker responsible for the day-to-day operations. The hostel office includes a complete complement of support staff and other employees.
Medical Facilities: The NIT Raipur has a dispensary situated by the side of the NCC office, which has three rooms, two rooms for the doctors and one room for the dispensary staff. The dispensary offers free OPD consultation, distribution of medicines and ambulance service for hospitalisation.
Guest House: The NIT Raipur infrastructure has a guest house that accommodates guests, staff members, parents, and visitors. There are three living rooms, one dining hall, and one hall in the guest home. All the rooms have modern amenities such as air conditioning, a television, and a refrigerator.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The average fees of NIT Raipur hostel per month is Rs. 6000 including mess. It can accomodate more than thousand students hostels. There are paying guests or PGs too. Talking about college mess facility it is good as compared to private PGs and hostels. The overall cost for 1 month is around Rs. 500 to Rs. 3000 which gives four times food in a day. There are spacious classrooms, library in the college. Wifi facility is available in college.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria: The student must have passed or appearing for 12th class board exam with physics, chemistry, and maths background. Such students can take the entrance test. And there is no such percentage criterion. The entrance exam is conducted by the UGC JOSSA NTA which is popularly known as JEE mains. There is a certain cutoff decided by the JOSSA. If it is cleared by student then he/she may be eligible to participate in JOSSA counselling. There are 6 rounds in it. And when the seat is alloted to a student then he may report to the centre for further procedure.
Placements & Internships : College provides internship and stipend to the college students in 3rd and 4th year. Companies like Wipro, Vedanta, Siemens, KEC, Infosys, Lafarge, Virtusa, TVS, Samsung, Adobe, Tata, Intoedge, Amazon, Paytm, Paypal, etc. visit our college for placements for the role of data analyst , software development Engineer, site engineer, chief engineer etc. Average salary given to students is 10 LPA and the highest package is 44 LPA to four students. About 70 percentage of students placed every year and rest appear for GATE for higher studies.
Fees & Scholarships : Fees is based upon family income. If it is between 0 to 1 lakh then whole fees is waived. If it is between 1 to 5 lakh then 1/3rd of the fees gets waived and if it is above 5 lakh then fees of 1.3 lakh annual has to be paid. Fees of ST SC students get waived totally. Scholarships are not provided but fund raising programs run in the institute for needy students. And loans are easily available.
Academics & Faculty : Official timing of college is from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm. But this is different for different semesters' students as per their subjects, workshop, practical works. And exam assignment projects are provided on a daily basis to the students in every semester. Quality and method of teaching is above than good level which is quite impressive. And teachers are quite supportive. Overall experience is just the best.
Clubs & Associations : Many societies, clubs and associations are there in the campus for dramatic, singing, Moto sports, robotics, vehicle club, click club, photography. Different kinds of fests are held every year. In general college life is very enjoyable and memorable.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The only problem is NIT Raipur is not every student will get the hostel inside the college after the first year. In the first year almost all students will get hostels. But from 2nd year only few students with high CGPA will get hostels as hostel seats are very limited. In that case, one can choose other hostels outside which will cost them around 6000 monthly. The hostel food in the college hostel is good and classrooms, labs, libraries are also good.
Academics & Faculty : The daily routine works in the college like class timings, exams, labs , assignments are common things like in other colleges. College will start from 9AM and completes at 5:30. The teachers in the college are highly qualified professionals. They teach very well
Clubs & Associations : Once you get admission into the college you will find various clubs, committees for sports, dance, singing and for other cultural activities. There are some major fests like aavaratan and eclectika held in the college. College life is very funny and you will enjoy it the most
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Students after completing their 12th class are eligible to take the entrance test. Jee mains is the entrance test through which you will get a chance of admission into NITs. If you clear the entrance test you will get an admission in NIT Raipur based upon your rank.
Placements & Internships : The placements were quite good in NIT Raipur. Most of the reputed companies hire students from branches like Computer science and Information technology. Other branch students who want to go for other fields will also get opportunities for the placements. The average salary till date is around 8-9 lakhs.
Fees & Scholarships : My annual income is below 1 lakh. So my tuition fee is 0. However, students whose income is above one lakh need to pay the course fee. Students whose income is above 5 lakhs need to pay around 1.35 lakh yearly. Students with income below one lakh will get most of the scholarships. If someone wants to apply for the loans they will easily get it as an educational loan.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : The infrastructure is again good. It has a small campus which is expanding every year. There are lots of facilities available now which were lacking earlier. The classrooms are beautiful.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria for admission in NIT Raipur are by clearing JEE mains examination conducted every year by CBSE board. For the bachelor degree in architecture, one needs to clear the paper-2 of JEE mains. The admission criteria are based on the cutoff of the rank and marks as well.
Placements & Internships : The packages of B-Tech courses is pretty much good. This year ( 2k18) the packages of chemical engineering was higher than the IT and CSE branches so far. There are lots of opportunities in every field. Talking about the Architecture Branch, the packages are good this year and the internships are also well paid.
Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is same as any other NITs and there are no. of scholarships are available for students. Still, many students go for the loan which is about a good option.
Academics & Faculty : The classes are quite long and enlightening. The method of teaching is again applaudable of every blanch as far as I know. In Architecture department the way of teaching is again exciting. overall the college is full of excellent faculty members who not only teaches us well but clear our doubts anytime we want during the daytime.
Clubs & Associations : The are lots of clubs and societies coming up every year, which not only represent our college but also make us proud by winning the competitions in different fields.
