National Education Foundation's Law College
The College has a well - equipped library with nearly 5000 books, and in addition there is a series of All India Reporter (AIR), Supreme Court Cases (SCC), Banking Cases, Consumer Protection Judgements, GLJ, GLT, GLR, Supreme Law Today, Criminal Law Journal, IJLT, Student Bar Review etc. Journals numbering 1260. College subscribes for 18 Law Journals including Socio-Legal Review besides newspapers and magazines of general nature. Multiple copies of prescribed and the other useful books in the various subjects of study are made available to the student.
Digital Library
The college has a well equipped digital library. The digital library is well stocked with various CDs that have audio visual presentation and law judgements of Supreme Court & all High Courts of India since 1950 in addition to Central Act & Rules. Both students and Staffs can access it online. Library remains open from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on all working days. It remains closed on Sundays and holidays.
Campus
The College functions from its permanent camous located at GMC Road at Christianbasti locality in the heart of Guwahati city. At present, the college is having a multi-storied built-up area of 14000 sq.ft which would be 40,000 sq.ft on its completion. With state-of-art infrastructure, wi-fi campus network and calm environment in the midst of the city, the college aims to provide an ideal academic environment to its students.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Few hostels are there which is not enough. Library and classrooms are well maintained. Yes, wifi is available. It has a canteen.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : For Admission one have to pass HS with minimum 45 percentage as per the rule of BCI and have to qualify NLET entrance examination. After qualifying the entrance examination one will get chance to take admission in the college. Relaxation is there as per the norms of BCI.
Placements & Internships : Yes Internships are there for the students but not sure about stipend. Yes, it has alumni association. One can visit the college if he/she is an ex student.
Fees & Scholarships : Course fee is Rs. 50000 per year. Scholarships are available for the students as per government norms under the National Scholarship Portal. Approximately 30 to 40 percent students get scholarship every year. The college authority helps and guides for loan and all.
Academics & Faculty : Daily routine is good classes starts from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm and then 1 hour break and from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm except Saturday, when the day encds at 1.00 pm. Projects, exams and assignments are given by the college. The teachers are friendly and helpful. My college experience I must say is 7 out of 10.
Clubs & Associations : There are no such societies or clubs in the campus and no festivals are celebrated. Programs are organized for freshers and and also farewell party. No sports is there. Generally life in the college is like nothing special, it's just like normal.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are PGs available right next to and opposite the college as well. There are multiple PGs for both girls and boys at walking distance from the college at a minimum price. The food in college is wonderful. You can have a good meal under INR 100. Classrooms and all the other rooms are air conditioned. Dining halls are very hygienic.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : A student needs to have their higher secondary pass certificate in order to be eligible for admissions. There were no entrance examinations for my course.
Placements & Internships : I have done internships in law. But there was no stipend provided. Finance, marketing and mainly law firms hire as it's a law college. It has a decent and satisfactory alumni network.
Fees & Scholarships : The course fee per year at NEF Law College, Guwahati is INR 55000-60000. Scholarships based on merits are available.
Academics & Faculty : Classes begin at 10am and sometimes continue till 3:00-4:00pm. We have sessional and semester exams in a semester. We are also assigned class assignments and final semester assignments. A very good quality is maintained in our studies. We are thought of both practically and theoretically. Moot courts are also held. The overall experience is satisfactory.
Clubs & Associations : There are law clubs and associations managed by the students. All the festivals are there on campus. We have cricket and football matches with other colleges. The overall life in college in general is quite good. It has a good environment and good teaching and management staff.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There is no hostel facility in the college. P.Gs are available for the students between 5000 to 8000 per month. The food in the college canteen is hygienic and yet very tasty. Its cost is not very high. The college has got AC in the classroom library and the labs. There is also Wifi facility in the College.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria was 45% of marks in higher secondary. The admission procedure was 10 k + the semester fee. The college took an entrance exam on behalf of which the candidates who passed got selected for admission in the college. The cutoff is 45 %.
Placements & Internships : I have done an internship in human rights commission and women's commission of Assam. I have attended the National Law Advocacy Trial conducted in National Law University.
Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is 32,220 per year. The college does not provide any kind of scholarship to the students. It is the students who must apply online for the scholarship for their own.
Academics & Faculty : Class start from 10 am to 3:30 pm. Assignments are given for each subject. The quality and method of teaching is very good all the notes are provided by our teachers. My overall experience is great here.
Clubs & Associations : The main festival on campus are fresher's, farewell, teacher day, children's day, seminar, camp etc. Life in college is fun and full of energy.
