Now a days, a degree or a qualification may not be sufficient for a student to stand in the job market. Market looks for professional engineers, which in turn advices the engineering colleges to nurture the students and mould them to become professional engineers.
Basing on the concept of filling the gap between academic skills of student and skills required by the industry or by the job market, and keeping in view of the above scenario, this college setup a separate office and christened its Placement Cell. The cell is provided with a full time individual officer with necessary support to take up the task of nurturing the students according to the demand of the job market.
The activities are broadly divided into two categories, viz. Training and Placement.The idea of training segment is to provide necessary on job or practical training on specified fields like embedded systems, J2EE, J2ME, J2SE, . Net, Networking etc., with the collaboration and understanding with industry giants like Orane Embedded Academy, CMS Computers, Step On Line Pvt Ltd, Xylem Technologies Ltd, CMS Universal Solutions etc., to nurture the students on their domains.
As an indivisible part of this segment, some special trainings like improving the verbal skills in English, Communication Skills, Interview skills etc., with an understanding with EFLU, Hyderabad, ACME Instructional Technics Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad, Academy of Training and Placement, Hyderabad, Meritrac global training centre, Bangalore, Pollux Technologies, Bangalore, Acme Instructional Technics Private Limited, Hyderabad, Globarena Technologies Private Limited, Hyderabad etc., to import the training and enhance the skills of the students to be a competent engineer in the job market.
The other segment of Placement Cell looks after the Placements for the students. To achieve a status in this segment, the Placement Officer not only visited but also corresponded with many companies and tapped the opportunities of recruitment in campus and off campus.The list of Companies stretched their helping hand is so long and may not be possible to put down here.
