Entrance Exams & Admissions :
Admission process is very easy. Minimum qualification is Matriculation. Before admission you are asked to take an exam. Questions are from basic physics, mathematics and chemistry along with logical reasoning.
The cutoff is 45% in the entrance exam.
You can choose a different stream. Mechatronics, Tool & Die, Electronic, Computer Engineering and they have vocational courses as well.
There are 17 NTTF centres in India. Headquaters are located in Karnataka. Fees structure for Computer Engineering in RNTC (centre in Jharkhand) is close to INR 3.5 lakhs for 3 years course. Excluding additional expenses. Syllabus for Computer Engineering keeps changing year by year. They include php, Rubyon Rails, Python, Pearl. They also include CCNA and Network Security as well. 3rd and 4th semester you will be asked to work on a mini project and 5th and 6th year you have a major project as per your stream. Placement in Computer Engineering in Bangalore is really good. Wipro, Capgemini, Thoughworks, Microland do come to hire candidates.
Fees & Scholarships :
For Computer Engineering my center charged INR 30000 per semester excluding hostel fees.
We had one scholarship by Cummins India.
Yes they do provide an educational loan.
Academics & Faculty :
Class timings are from 8 am to 5 pm. 4 hours of theory and 4 hours of practical.
Method of teaching is good. They have experienced faculties who have very good knowledge of every language.
Overall experience in my center was good.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities :
I have no idea about the hostel because my house was near my college. PGs are available.
Quality of the classroom is good and so are other infrastructure as well.
Clubs & Associations :
There are sports clubs and no other clubs as such.
Sports Day and Annual Day are celebrated.
Life in college is generally good. You learn new things every day.
