NMAM Institute of Technology was established in 1986. The college is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, and is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. The Institute is accredited by the National Assessment & Accreditation Council [NAAC] with an 'A' grade with a CGPA of 3.11 out of 4 till 20th October 2022. Seven UG Programs ie. Civil, E&E, BT, Mech, CS, IS and EC are accredited by NBA, New Delhi under Tier - I category till 30th June 2021. NMAMIT to offer a four-year B.Sc(Hons) program in the subjects of physics, mathematics, and chemistry with effect from the 2021-2022 academic year. The Institute is certified to the ISO 9001-2015 standards for quality education by NVT Quality Certifications (ANAB accredited). It also has been granted Academic Autonomy under the Visvesvaraya Technological University from 2007-08.

Admission to this college is done through an entrance exam named COMED- K for UG Courses. Candidates need to regularly check the official website for application form and admission notice. Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination could also apply to any of these programs, provided they submit the necessary documents within the stipulated time. Any candidates failing to produce the proof of eligibility will be automatically removed from the application list. So, candidates must be careful while applying and uploading the relevant documents. NMAMIT UG Admission 2024  

NMAM Institute of Technology four-year BE degree in 6 specializations with an overall intake of 900 students. Students who have passed 10+2 or its equivalent qualifying examination with not less than 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics and optional subjects such as Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer/ Electronics and English as a compulsory language from a recognized board are eligible to apply for admission into this course. Admission to NMAMIT is based on a selection of the eligible candidates is done only on the basis of their merit in CET conducted by the Government of Karnataka for COMEDK UGET. The programs are full-time courses with a four-year duration. The minimum eligibility criterion for these courses includes completing 10+2 or an equivalent in the Science stream with at least 45% marks

NMAMIT UG Admission - Eligibility, Fees, Admission Details

The selection criteria for admission in B. Tech. is based on the marks secured in either CET- Karnataka and COMEDK UGET. Candidates satisfying the eligibility conditions given below as on the last date of submission of application are eligible to apply. The Selection is through the KCET.

NMAMIT B. Tech Admission 2024

Higher Secondary Examination qualified candidates will be eligible for admission to B. Tech Courses. Candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks should be secured in the final examination. Appearing candidates can also apply for admission to B. Tech Courses.

NMAMIT PG Admission 2024

NMAMIT offers three postgraduate degrees in the M.Tech, MCA and MBA stream. The three programs are full-time courses with a duration of two years. The minimum qualification a candidate should possess to apply for these courses is a B.E/ B.Tech degree in the respective branch with at least 50% marks. The candidates will also have to qualify in the PGCET  to be considered eligible for admission. Candidates with valid GATE score may not attend the entrance examination. The selected students should then pay the required tuition fees to complete the admission procedure. MBA and MCA courses are offered to interested students.

NMAMIT PG Admission - Eligibility, Fees, Admission Details

Graduation degree holder can apply for admission to the course. Minimum 50% marks secured in the qualifying examination. Karnataka-Post Graduate Common Entrance Test is a state-level entrance test organized by the Karnataka Examination Authority in offline mode. The examination is conducted in the month of July. It is mandatory for the GATE qualified candidates to mention their GATE score and submit the scorecard along with the application form.

NMAMIT M. Tech Admission 2024

The institute offers the full-time M.Tech course in 12 specializations with a total intake of 218 students in all specializations. Applicants who have completed their BE/ B.Tech in any relevant discipline from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category) are eligible to apply for M.Tech admission. Applicants who have qualified Karnataka-PGCET conducted by KEA are shortlisted for admission on the basis of their merit in the test. Those with valid GATE score are given first preference for admission. Graduation degree holder can apply for admission to the course. Minimum 50% marks secured in the qualifying examination. The Karnataka-Post Graduate Common Entrance Test is a state-level entrance test organized by the Karnataka Examination Authority in offline mode. The examination is conducted in the month of July. Candidates seeking admission to M.Tech courses should register themselves online through the official website of the college. The minimum qualification for admission to the first year of the M.Tech course is a pass in B.Tech/ B.E. conducted by any University or any other examination recognized as equivalent.

NMAMIT MBA Admission 2024

NMAM Institute of Technology offers MBA courses at the PG level with an intake of 120 and 180 seats. Applicants who have completed their graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% marks with Mathematics/ Computer Science/ Statistics/ Computer programming/ Business Statistics/ Business Mathematics subjects as an elective subject at Degree/ 10+2 level are eligible for MCA course. For MBA, candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC category) are eligible to apply.

NMAMIT MCA Admission 2024

Admission into MCA is done on the basis of merit obtained in KMAT (Karnataka Management Aptitude Test) conducted by Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Associations (KPPGCA), while selection for MBA program is made based on candidate’s performance in Karnataka-PGCET conducted by KEA or valid KMAT score. Karnataka PGCET is a pen-paper test of 2 hours duration and is conducted at the state level. The question paper includes 100 MCQs of 100 marks. KMAT is a state level examination conducted in the pen-paper mode in the month of July.

The fee structure for B. Tech consists of tuition fees and university free. The first-year fees for various departments are as follows. The first-year fees for Computer science engineering consist of INR 3388000, Information Science is INR 338000, Electronics and Communications consists of INR 263000, Mechanical, Civil, Electronics & Electrical engineering consist of INR163000 and Bio-Technology consist of INR 138000.
