Placements & Internships : A handful of companies come here for campus placements. But PVPIT, Sangli is the only college in Sangli District where Indian Navy Recruiters conduct pool campus interviews. Average salaries range anywhere from 2 to 3 LPA. Top Recruiters include TCS, Bharat Forge, Triveni Turbiners, Chintamani Motors for Mechanical Engineering Graduates. The alumni network is very strong and helps students cope with the industry. Every year Student-Alumni relationship camps are held to encourage students.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admissions to Padmabhooshan Vasantraodada Patil Institute of Technology are given on the basis of JEE-MAIN score. The institution is affiliated to BATU, Lonere. The cut offs lie on the lower range of the profile and anyone with more than 20 marks in JEE-MAIN can get an admission over here.

Fees & Scholarships : BE courses have a fee of around 90k per year. But there are various scholarships for students and one can get a scholarship and pay as much as 8k only per year. All the caste based scholarships and EBC scholarships are available.

Academics & Faculty : The college starts at 9.30 am and ends at 4.20 pm. The labs are well equipped and the teachers are well versed with their subjects. No frequent assignments are given and students have a lot of time for extra curricular activities. My overall experience is good.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 2 hostels for boys and 1 hostel for girls. The cost is 15k per year. You can get PG's in neighbouring areas for as low as 1k per month and College mess is Rs. 1500 a month and is same as other neighbouring mess. The food is good. There is 250 mbps WI-FI in the campus. Classrooms are well furnished and have a projector or a OHP. Labs are up to date and well equipped.

Clubs & Associations : All departments have their own Student associations. Other societies include Art Spectrum, Career and Personality Development circle, APJ Abdul Kalam Foundation. There are Fresher's and farewell parties organised by student association. There is college annual function called Vasantotsav, college sports meet, Inter college sports meet Vasant Krida Mohotsav, and inter college arts cup called Vasant Karandak. Also a national level technical event Nirmiti takes place every year. My overall experience on the campus was very good.
