Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology Diploma Admission 2024

PIET admission to Diploma programs is done purely based on the cut-off marks secured in the qualifying examination. The institute offers admission to a three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (LEET), and Diploma in Pharmacy.

Diploma Eligibility Criteria

The basic eligibility requirement for Diploma admission is merit in 10th or 10+2 examination. 

1. For Mechanical Engineering admission, candidates must have passed 10th or equivalent examination with at least 35% marks (33% for SC/ ST) from a recognized board or from the Board of School Education, Haryana.
2. For Mechanical Engineering (LEET) admission, the applicants shall have passed ITI of at least 2-years duration or 10+2 with PCM or 10+2 Vocational.
3. Candidates should have cleared 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Bio/ Maths from a recognized board for admission to Diploma in Pharmacy.

Diploma Selection Process

The final Diploma admission is done based on the overall merit obtained by the candidate. Diploma in Pharmacy admission is made based on merit by HSTES Panchkula.

Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology B.Tech Admission 2024

PIET admission 2024 is being offered in B.Tech courses. The institute offers various B.Tech admission for the next academic session. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements can apply online for admission.

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Admission to the four-year undergraduate Engineering program requires a minimum pass in 10+2. The applicants must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Information Practices as optional subjects. The candidates must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ ST category).

B.Tech Selection Process

The applicants are selected for PIET B.Tech admission based on their merit in the qualifying examination. The final selection is done based on the overall merit, JEE merit rank along with online off-campus counselling.

Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology B.Tech Lateral Entry Admission 2024

PIET also offers B.Tech LEET admission to the second year. Applicants must meet the following admission requirements including B.Tech Lateral Entry cut-off marks.

B.Tech Lateral Entry Eligibility Criteria

The applicants must have passed Diploma in Engineering Technology of a duration of 3-years or more from a recognized board or the State Board of Technical Education, Haryana. Those who have passed B.Sc with Mathematics in 12th are also eligible to apply. The minimum cut-off marks required for B.Tech LEET admission is 45% in aggregate (40% for SC/ ST). 

B.Tech Lateral Entry Selection Process

PIET admission to B.Tech LEET shall be made based on the inter-se merit of OLET 2024 conducted by the NIC. In the final admission process, combined merit, cut-off marks will also be considered.

Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology B.Pharma Admission 2024

Bachelor of Pharmacy admission is being offered by PIET for candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination. The applicants shall have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination conducted by the state or central government authorities.

B.Pharma Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM), and/ Biology (PCB/ PCMB) as optional subjects.

B.Pharma Selection Process

The final admission is made based on merit in the qualifying examination. However, any qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India will also be the admission criteria.

Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology BBA Admission 2024

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a duration of 3-years is being offered under PIET admission. The minimum cut-off marks at 10+2 is the admission criteria for the BBA program. 

BBA Eligibility Criteria

The applicants shall have passed 10+2 or equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate along with English as a compulsory subject from any recognized board.

BBA Selection Process

The final selection is based on merit and the admission is made through institute-level counselling.

PIET admission also comprises a three-year Bachelor of Computer Application. The admission is made based on the combined merit. 

BCA Eligibility Criteria

The applicants shall have passed 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks from any recognized board.

BCA Selection Process

The final selection shortlist is made based on merit in the qualifying examination and institute-level manual counselling.

Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology B.Voc BFSI Admission 2024

The institute offers admission to Bachelor of Vocation with specialization in Banking Financial Services and Insurance. The admission is made based on merit and counselling process.

B.Voc BFSI Eligibility Criteria

For B.Vocation admission, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 45% marks (42.75% for SC/ ST category) in any discipline with English as a compulsory subject from any recognized board. 

B.Voc BFSI Selection Process

Candidates are selected for B.Voc BFSI admission based on the combined merit followed by institute-level manual counselling.

MBA admission is being offered in various specializations. PIET also offers various value-added certificate courses as part of the MBA curriculum. 

MBA Eligibility Criteria 

The applicants must have passed graduation or post-graduation in any field with at least 50% marks (47.50% for SC/ ST) from a recognized university or institute. Admission to MBA program is based on the Composite Score of CMAT/ MAT.

MBA Selection Process

The final admission is made based on the merit scores and CMAT or MAT ranks followed by counselling.

PIET offers a 2-year Master of Computer Application as well as MCA LEET program. MCA admission is done based on merit and counselling.

MCA Eligibility Criteria

The applicants must have passed BCA/ B.Tech (CSE) or have passed B.Sc/ B.Com/ BA with Mathematics at 10+2 or at graduation. The applicant shall have obtained at least 50% marks (47.50% for SC/ ST).

MCA Selection Process

The final selection is based on the minimum cut-off marks followed by institute-level counselling.

PIET admission 2024 to different programs is done based on merit in the qualifying examination and the relevant entrance test scorecard.
