Patna women’s college has a tie up with Bank of Baroda, which helps the students with minimum procedures.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I applied for Communicative English for Media Studies, which is a vocational course. The eligibility criteria was minimum of 45% in+2. Procedure for the applied course was simple, and can be applied by online and offline modes. The entrance examination was an aptitude based test. Talking about cut off, it varies each year.

Placements & Internships : Internship is an important part of this course, as you are given the opportunity to explore the work culture. In the final year you need to submit an On the Job training experience, which holds certain marks in the final exams. Placements are not very impressive in this particular course. Most students get the pre placement in their internship period. 

Academics & Faculty : PWC is always known for it’s a quality teachers. The college routine was strictly followed by students and faculties. Classes generally started from 9 A.M. and would continue till 4 P.M. Subsidiary and Honours classes’ required minimum of 75% attendance. Exams were held every 6 months, which included projects, assignments on a monthly or weekly basis.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Although, PWC provides hostel facilities, but not many take it due to strict routines.  PGs and hostels with any budget are easily available near are college. Canteen is well maintained inside the campus which is also pocket friendly. For the cultural or annual functions college has few auditorium. Recently an open hall in the campus ground was constructed. Our college has a big library, labs are well equipped and maintained regularly.

Clubs & Associations : Student also can opt for student council member by vote system. Christmas celebration is a big event for our college. Annual functions, sports events are conducted with full support of every department. The college life at PWC is quite memorable with lots of extra-curricular activities and proper knowledge.
