Admission is based on a cut-off list set according to your graduation Grand total in SPPU graduation , and accordingly cutoffs in varied categories like OMS , Caste based , PHW , Govt. Employee etc . Usually 45 seats in total are available for the course along with in house quota people ie. Students of graduation in modern college . Fee of course ranges from 36 k to 38k depending on your reservation categories if there . You need to enroll for the selection process as soon results of graduation are announced by visiting the college along with your marksheet and other applicable documents like caste certificate , PHW , and results are announced on their website in 2-3 weeks . Accept the admission letter and pay the amount , you get the admission . Modern analytical branch has no in campus visit of industries .You can do your research projects in the college foe 2 years in guidence of the respective staff members. It has got a fully facilated libraries . Admission process can be time consuming so you need to be prompt in it.Also , College is planning to conduct Instrumentation course in college but decision stands pending yet . They have laboratory safety workshop for in and out college students . College practicals are three days in week and lectures for First year in Afternoon session and Second year in morning session. But project work is full time dedication . Modern college doesn't guarantee you placements in industries and no in campus industrial facilities.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Labs and libraries are very beneficial with great book collection of all required authors mentioned in syllabus . Nearby college private message available . hostel and P.Gs in shivaji nagar area are abundant since in heart of city . Wifi facilities for academic purpose in E- Labs only . Otherwise jammers are installed .

Clubs & Associations : It's not a large scale campus so science students involving In College days is only purpose served .Instead our batch got benefits of TATA Outdoor course after college timings which was fun and learning to develop skills among students . There's always some or other college activity on but your academic schedule of P.G. will limit you in that case . Still , participation is encouraged for both academic and unacdemic courses
