C.M. Dubey Post Graduate College, Bilaspur was established in 1956 has been run by Dubey Shikshan Samiti. The College was affiliated to C.G. University, Bilaspur from 1983 up to its up gradation as central university and now it has became a part of New Bilaspur University, Bilaspur, from 2012. The college has highly qualified academic staff members who are involved in teaching theoretical and experimental subjects. Besides, this regular teaching, staff is also engaged in high quality research activities and in organizing seminars, workshops for the students and teachers.

Library: Books in the College Library are primarily meant for the use of the students and Members of the college staff. Avoid rough handling, mutilation and loss of these books. They are sacred instruments of education for the present and future.

Reading Room: The Reading Rooms is open to all. Magazines, news papers and other periodicals are placed on the table and are not issued. Back numbers may be issued on request. Every students of the College is entitled to become a borrower of the Library provided he reproduces his Identity Card issued by the Proctor and fee receipt at the counter. The Science Association also rune a Reading Rom for the Science students, particularly. A number of science magazines are subscribed. A few Science books and reprints are also available.

Games & Sports: The college has made provision for playing Hockey, Football, Cricket, Badminton, Volleyball, Kabaddi, Yoga exercises and athletics, Students of the College are expected to take part in one or more to these events.

Along with that, the college also provide training and career guidance services to shape the career of students by developing their personalities. • Students of the college are awarded the following Government Scholarships on recommendation by the Principal. National Scholarships as per Govt. rules. Merit Scholarship as per Govt. rules. Merit-cum-Means Scholarships as per Govt. Rules.
• State and Central Government Scholarships are also available to students belonging scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and other backward classes. Enquiries regarding these may be made in the college office.
• Non–Government Organisation Scholarships are available for poor but deserving students.
• Concession and scholarships granted by college shall be withdrawn for Unsatisfactory attendance, Unsatisfactory progress in studies. Acts of indiscipline and misconduct, any activity which tarnish the good name of the college.

CMD College Eligibility Criteria:

The following are the eligibility criteria for the programs offered by CMD College:

Once the candidates successfully complete the process of taking up the entrance exam, they have to go through the concerned Bilaspur College admission counseling process to avail themselves a seat in the institution based on their performance at the entrance tests and the marks scored in the concerned qualifying exams.

At the Counseling process, once the candidates get themselves a seat in a course, they are expected to lock in the seat and report back to the institution with the proof of seat allocation by the counseling board.

Candidates are also expected to get all the necessary documents required by the institution.
