Bilaspur University, [BU] was established in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh in the year 2012. The vision of the college is to make quality education accessible to students. The university has been accredited by NAAC with a grade 'A'. It is also recognized by UGC & AIU. It offers UG, PG, PG Diploma and Ph.D. in the domains of commerce and financial studies, microbiology and bioinformatics, hotel management and hospitality, computer science and applications & food processing and technology.

Bilaspur University is situated in an old high court building, near Gandhi Chowk, Bilaspur city. 173 government and private colleges are affiliated to Chhattisgarh State which is authorized under Atal Bihari Vajpayee Vishwavidyalaya University. In partnership with the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Bilaspur University also offers domain-specific diploma programs to students. Admission is granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Bilaspur University Admission

Bilaspur University Admission 2022 is currently available. The admission will be done on the basis of qualifying entrance examination results. PhD seeking candidates should attend an interview. The Application Form is accessible on the university website which can be downloaded from and can be submitted to the University along with the designated fee. Admission will be provided stringently as per the reservation policy of C.G. Govt. 

Bilaspur University Eligibility Criteria

Bilaspur University admissions into various courses are conducted based on merit in previously qualified exams. MTech admission is conducted based on merit and candidates also have to have a valid GATE score. The following is the eligibility criteria for admission into various UG courses

B.Sc Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should have passed 10+2 pass with 45%.
• The candidate should have a valid score in qualifying examination.

M.Sc Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidate should have a B.Sc degree from a recognised university.
• Candidate should have an aggregate score of 45%

MCA Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate should have passed BSc/BTech/BSc/BCom with maths at 10+2 or at grad with 50% marks.
