Pimpri Chinchwad University was established by the Late Shri. S.B. Patil in the September of 1990. PCU offers UG & PG courses to their students in different schools like the School of Engineering & Technology, School of Design, School of Sciences, School of Management, and School of Liberal Arts.

Pimpri Chinchwad University campus is spread over a 10-acre campus with more than 20.000 sq. meters of constructed infrastructure of academic facilities and amenities for students and teachers to help them achieve their fullest potential.
