Department of Engineering:

Engineering Department at Pratap University offers courses at each specialization including Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electricals Engineering, Electricals, and Electronics Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Computer Science offers basics and helps in designing, building, and analyzing software. Electronics is related to the study of science related to electric energy in respect to electrical gadgets and devices, Communication deals with the exchange of information between two entities with the use of technology and understanding its channels. 

Computer Applications:

Computer Applications deals with the software where the software is a set of machine-readable instructions for the functioning of the computer. The processors are used to design a particular program and help humans in interacting with the computer. Software is usually written using programming languages that are readable by the processors which get signals by binary values. Pratap University provides amenities such as Database Management Systems, Audio-Video, Networking to help students in getting the best use of computers and also assist them in conducting further research in the same.

Pharmacy:

Pharmacy involves the science and techniques of preparing and dispensing drugs. This profession is related to health which links science and chemical sciences to create pharmaceutical drugs and medications. Master of Business Administration is a 2-year full-time management program being approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD. This program is designed to provide future managers who can handle the responsibilities of an organization in various sectors by making confident and comfortable business decisions at the time of risk and uncertainty. These students are to be equipped with various traits including positive thinking, risk-taking capabilities, decision making, confidence, and learning attitude. Management can be done under various specializations such as Information Technology, Finance, Human Resource, Marketing, and International Business. University also provides amenities such as an on-line language lab, lecture theatres, book-bank for every student to assist them in their progress more effectively. 

Mass Communication:

Mass communication is the study of media which comprises newspapers, television, magazines, radio, news, advertising, and other channels of communication where the information is disseminated for large segments of the population. The study is concerned with how mass communication is chiefly concerned and affects the behavior, attitude, opinion, or emotion of the individuals receiving information. Lab facilities are provided with handycams for video recording, DSLR cameras, Advertisement design alongside the assistance of the faculty to enrich students with knowledge. Periodical Research and Projects are done in the course to explore mass communication.

Pratap University is “Green Certified” as it is vastly spread in 100 acres of lush green and also covering the hills at Jaipur-Mumbai National Highway. The place here gives the best experience as it is present with beautiful gardens. University consists of Classrooms, Laboratories, and a Library. Classroom design at the university consists of interactive whiteboard, LCD projectors, cloud-based communication system along with in-class activities such as quiz competitions, group discussions, and weekly test to keep a regular check on the performance of the students.

• Departmental Laboratories are equipped with the latest technology and equipment to meet the curriculum benchmarks. Laboratories are taken care of by faculty lab in charge and assistants who are involved in regular updation and maintenance of the equipment. 
• Centrally air-conditioned library with a hi-tech digital lab consists of 750 seating capacity along with good internet connections with online journals.
• Library also has 10000 books in total comprising of references, periodicals so on CD ROMS to cover academic studies and research materials.
• Hi-Tech Conference Room, Centrally Computer Facility, and Hi-Tech Auditorium consist of LCD TV and Projector.

Pratap University Hostel Facilities

The University offers good hostel facilities separately for boys and girls which is in proximity to the college allowing its students to walk for just 2 minutes from the university to the hostel. The institution offers a range of building sizes and themed residence communities for the students. These buildings are divided into a traditional dormitory-style where students can stay with one/ two roommates in the same room. The Flat style has a private room, with a share of a kitchen, washrooms, and living room with three to five other students.

• There are around 145 rooms in the boys' hostel, 350 rooms in the girls' hostel which are fully furnished with hot water supply facilities, nutritious food, etc.
• Pratap University Facilities include an Open Theatre, Music Studio, Gymnastics, Cafeteria, Health Centre, and Internet Facilities.
• There is 24×7 security surveillance around the hostel.
• Furniture like beds, study tables, chairs all necessary amenities are made available in the rooms.
