Infrastructure Facilities at Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University, [PJTSAU] Hyderabad:

Hostel

• There are separate hostels for boys and girls
• Most students from rural areas opt to stay in the hostel, international students can opt for different facilities
• The rooms are on a twin-sharing basis for UG students while PG students have single rooms
• The hostel is provided with sports facilities and indoor games, a reading room, Television, internet & WiFi
• In addition, there is hot water with solar heating, water purification systems, and a gymnasium
• Mess facility provides healthy and nutritious food, which is regularly monitored by student representatives

Library

• The aim of the library is to reach a wider user base of students, teachers, and scientists
• There is a circulation section that looks after issue and return of books, fine for overdue book and membership
• There are different time frames for the loan of books to students and teachers ranging from 15 to 30 days  
• The library subscribes to 185 Indian and 35 international journals
• There is a reference section, where the books kept are only meant for reading in the library and are not issued on loan
• "Book Bank" scheme is in place, where students from reserve categories can keep the textbook for the entire duration of the course
• A separate cell provides books for students appearing for competitive examinations
• The library provides an Online Public Access Catalogue to teachers and students to access resources online 
• There is a Xerox facility for the benefit of students within the library 
• There are various digital library resources  available including CeRA, CAB Abstracts, Krishiprabha, EBSCO, Indiastat, CRC Netbase e-Books, CAB e-Books, Elsevier e-Books, etc
