Library

Information and knowledge is the lifeline for learning be it the student or the faculty. RIET has one of the best Resource Centres designed to provide support to all engineering departments. The Central Technical library has over 10000-12000 books, journals, volumes related to all branches of science, engineering and management. The students have access to International and national journals in addition to handbooks, standard manuals, technical reports, conference proceedings etc. The Digital Library in the campus provides access to archives, collection of e-books, e-Journals, CD-ROMs, text images and other online collections to scholars and learners.

Library automation is done using Smart Campus software which facilitates all in-house operations of the library. Barcode based circulation system is used in the library. All the books are bar-coded in the library & barcode laser scanners are used in the circulation counter for book transaction. Students can make use of their Smart card for borrowing books.

Cafeteria

The canteen is situated in 5th floor and consists of a massive and hygienic kitchen and a dining area which can accommodate up to 500 persons at a time, serves north Indian, south Indian and Chinese cuisines. The food served here is priced affordable

Hostel mess is attached to the hostels for ease of access. We have separate dining hall for girls and boys. The food served here is according to the pre prescribed menu and timings. The girls dining hall can seat up to 300 students and boys up to 400 students at a time.

Apple Autorized training centre

We are the only authorised college giving training for AAT in Kerala.  Apple’s certification training is meant to produce a highly proficient technician, systems administrator and user. Apple offers you its certification exams at various training centres throughout the India and various locations around the world. Apple Mac training courses and tests are carried out according to a specified schedule. The faculty at these the various centres consist of Apple Certified Trainers. Training is delivered through lecture, hands-on lab work and exercises.

T – TBIC
RIET is having tie up with T-TBI. Technopark Technology Business Incubator (T-TBI), is the India's first and Most successful Non Academic Business Incubator, hosted and housed inside the Asia Largest IT Park Technopark. Technopark Technology Business Incubator (T-TBI), a joint association of Technopark, Trivandrum and the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, to help the technology business start-ups, started operation during 2007. Over the years T-TBI worked towards building successful companies from the incubator by designing and offering whatever is needed to make a start up successful. Technopark TBI (T-TBI) has been registered as a Society during 2006 under the Travancore Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act XII of 1955 of Government of Kerala.

Students Councelling Center
The Students in a professional education institution hail from different educational, social and financial backgrounds. Hence the institutional atmosphere often raises for them a lot of emotional problems that way affect their interpersonal relations, academic pursuits and career development. To help them out of this situtaion, a councelling centre has been set up in the college, headed by well qualified and well trained concellor whom the parents as well as the students can approach to set right the emotional dilemma they are in.
