Rajadhani Institute of Engineering and Technology admission 2024 is entrance-based. The college is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The institute offers NBA and NAAC-accredited courses. The institute offers 15 courses at UG, PG and doctoral levels in the Engineering stream. RIET Kerala accepts KEAM and GATE scores for admission to BTech and MTech courses.
B.Tech Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects with atleast 45% marks put together in the above subjects.
B.Tech Lateral Entry Candidates who have passed Three years/Two years (Lateral Entry) Diploma in Engineering and Technology or D.Voc or passed B.Sc degree from a recognized university with Mathematics at 10+2, and qualified in the Lateral Entry Test. Diploma and B.Sc qualified students will be admitted to any branch of B.Tech, subject.
Diploma (3 year polytechnic) The candidate shall have passed SSLC/THSLC or equivalent examination, with eligibility for higher studies. Candidates who have passed qualifying examination with Mathematics, English and Science subjects are eligible.
Diploma Lateral Entry The candidate should have passed +2/equivalent examination with Mathematics, physics and chemistry after completion of 2 years regular course. The candidate should have a minimum score of 50% in Physics, Mathematics and other relevant mandatory additional course put together. In the case of 2 years matric courses of NCVT/SCVT/KGCE candidates, they shall have a minimum of 50% of the aggregate marks in the qualifying examination and they will be considered for admission to any branch of Engineering and Technology.
M.Tech The candidate should have B.Tech. Degree in the appropriate branch with minimum of 60% aggregate marks. (For SEBC /OBC students, a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the Engineering Degree examination is mandatory). For SC/ST candidates a pass in the Engineering Degree Programme is sufficient.
MBA A candidate must be a graduate with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in all the years/semesters in any discipline from a recognized University, as stipulated by APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. (For SEBC /OBC students, a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination is mandatory). For SC/ST students, a pass in the qualifying examination is sufficient. Candidates are required to have valid scores in CAT/CMAT/KMAT
BHMCT The candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) conducted by the Board of HSE Kerala or examination equivalent there to with 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.
