Roorkee College of Engineering Admission 2020

RCE offers M.Tech, B.Tech, Polytechnic programmes at UG, PG and Diploma level. All the courses have been approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). Other courses such as B.Sc (Agriculture), B.Sc (Forestry), B.Com (CFA), BBA are approved by the Government of Uttarakhand in the name Roorkee College. Also, the courses such as M.Tech and B.Tech are affiliated with Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun (Government of Uttarakhand), All Diploma programmes are affiliated with Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, Roorkee (UBTER), Government of Uttarakhand. The courses such as B.Sc (Forestry), B.Sc (Agriculture), B.Com, BBA are affiliated with Sri DevSuman Uttarakhand University, Government of Uttarakhand. 

1. All the programmes under Roorkee College of Engineering admission 2020 are run on semester basis. 
2. The admission to various UG programmes including B.Tech, BBA, B.Com, etc are carried out on the basis of merit in 10+2 from a recognized board. 
3. Candidates seeking B.Tech admission must secure a valid score in AIEEE or JEE. 
4. The institute offers a two-year M.Tech programme under PG admission. Admission to the proposed courses requires minimum marks in B.Tech.
5.  Candidates are selected for M.Tech admission based on merit as well as marks in GATE or GPAT scores. 5% relaxation in marks percentage has been allotted to SC/ ST category students.

Roorkee College of Engineering UG and Diploma Admission 2020

RCE offers B.Tech, B.Tech (Lateral Entry-3 years), B.Sc, B.Com with specializations under UG admission. Other courses proposed by Roorkee College of Engineering are BCA, BHM (Bachelor of Hotel Management), BHA (Bachelor of Hospital Administration), BA and B.Pharma (4 years). All the UG courses are on semester basis and the B.Tech programmes have been affiliated by Uttarakhand Technical University. Roorkee College of Engineering UG and Diploma Admission: Eligibility, Fee, Admission Criteria

Admission to the UG programmes requires minimum marks in 10+2 in the relevant discipline. For example, B.Tech admission requires a minimum of 45% in Physics, Maths and Chemistry/ Information Science or Computer Science. For B.Sc admission, a candidate must have passed 10+2 with minimum required marks in PCB or PCM or equivalent. The total fee for B.Tech first year is INR 104900 and INR 99,900 per year for the next three years. Fee for B.Sc is INR 63200 in the first year and 59,200 per year for the coming years.

The advance registration for B.Tech admission is open for the 2020 academic year. The admission will begin soon as 10+2 results commences.

• Candidates who have appeared in the last qualifying examination (10+2) in the current year or passed previously and are appearing in AIEEE or JEE this year are eligible to apply. 
• The general eligibility criteria is to pass 10+2 with at least 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Information Science or Computer Science. 
• For reserved category applicants, the minimum required marks is 40% from a recognized board.
• The college also offers B.Tech honours courses such as Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering. 

Roorkee College of Engineering M.Tech Admission 2020

RCE offers a two-year M.Tech programme under UG admission. The proposed course has been affiliated by Uttarakhand Technical University. All the specialized courses under M.Tech such as Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering are run on semester basis. To be eligible for M.Tech admission at Roorkee College of Engineering, an applicant must have the following eligibility parameters.

1. For the General/ OBC category, applicants must have at least 60% marks in B.Tech or equivalent.
2. 55% marks in B.Tech is the minimum required marks for SC/ ST category students.
3. The reservation will be applicable as per the State Government Norms. Also, irrespective of category all the candidates must have passed in the University online entrance examination or must have valid scores in GATE or GPAT.
4. The tuition fee for M.Tech is INR 70,000 and total fee is INR 83,900 per year.
