Roots Collegium was established in 1991 with the vision in mind to take management courses to the top level on par with engineering and medical in the market.  Roots Collegium is one of the highly reputed management institutes established to provide education for graduates and undergraduate students through different programs. It is the first college in Hyderabad to introduce BBA for undergraduate students. The institute has four colleges under its umbrella. They are ROOTS Junior College, ROOTS Degree College, ROOTS Hotel Management College, and ROOTS College of Design respectively. It is affiliated with many prestigious universities in the industry, like Osmania University and Telangana State Council Of Higher Education. Apart from this, Roots has also entered into MOUs with renowned national and international bodies, such as CII – the confederation of Indian Industries, Yi- Young Indians, IWN- Indian Women’s Network, and GIT- Girls in Technology. ROOTS Collegium has a sprawling campus at Jubilee Hills  Road No. 36 and Somajiguda in Hyderabad.

It was founded based on the idea that India needs better managers who can lead different businesses across different cultures of the country. The main aim was basically to inculcate the highest standards of knowledge, discipline, values, and ethics by adapting to the industry needs and global standards. This college creates hundreds of managers every year with the help of the management, which gives different teaching methods like case study approaches and live projects so that the students can inculcate the highest standards of education. This helps in developing creativity, innovation, and communication, along with discipline, morals, and ethics. Root offers 20+ courses both in regular as well as diplomas affiliated to various universities and bodies such as Osmania, JNAFAU, Telangana board of Intermediate, Toastmasters, ACCA, Alliance Francis, YI, CII, and many more.

Roots Collegium Admission

The admissions are open for a spectrum of courses offered for the batch 2022-23. BBA was first introduced by Roots College in Hyderabad. Apart from this, the college now offers about 20+courses, both regular and diplomas affiliated with various prestigious universities and bodies like Osmania, JNAFAU, Telangana board of Intermediate, Toastmasters, ACCA, Alliance Francis, YI, CII, and many more. 

Roots Collegium Eligibility Criteria

All the courses have different eligibility criteria listed below as follows.

MEC/CEC/HEC Eligibility Criteria

• All tenth-class pass-outs are eligible.

Diploma in French/Diploma in Soft Skills Eligibility Criteria

• All 10+2 or equivalent pass-outs are eligible.

BA Honors (Film and Media) Eligibility Criteria

• All 12th pass-outs are eligible.

BA Honors Design Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must be 10+2 or equivalent passed.
