The spacious amphitheatre style classrooms at RGI provide the most conducive atmosphere for dynamic and focused interaction. They have been designed to bring together analysis with action and are augmented with integrated visual teaching aids for lectures and presentations.
The Centrally Air conditioned Ultra Modern Computer Center is accessible round-the clock and is equipped with high speed Internet Facilities, state-of-the-art hardware and software, top-of-the-line desktops and Intel Xeon 64 Bit Processor Servers. The computer centre has six labs with 400 workstations. The centre is used for teaching the IT and CS courses and for providing computing facilities for other courses. The Computer Center is one of the largest in the North East Region. RGI houses one of the finest Chemistry Lab of this region. It encompasses all the resources to facilitate research and learning at all levels. The other labs viz. Physics Lab, Electronic Lab, Electrical Lab, Graphic & Design Lab are worth seeing and equipped with all latest and most scientific apparatus.
The library facilities and services include regular subscription to national and international journals, electronic journals, round the clock accessibility, photocopy and CD-rewriting etc. The library provides excellent information services and resources to the participants of various programs, research scholars, faculty members and also the wider community to enable them to become life long learners.
RGI is a day cum residential institution. RGI provides comfortable, well furnished, centrally air-conditioned hostel accommodation separately for both Boys and Girls. The hostel facilities provide students a homely atmosphere that strengthens the feeling of belongingness. The comfort level in the hostel rooms is comparable with the best institutes of the country. Healthy, Nourishing and Sumptuous food is served from hygienic and modern kitchen.
