SA Engineering College, Chennai was established in the year 1998-99 by the Dharma Naidu Educational & Charitable Trust under the general policy of Govt. of TamilNadu. The college earned ISO 9001:2008 certification and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The College is graded ‘A’ by NAAC and is currently in the process of getting accreditated by the NBA. The campus is spread across an area of 42 acres and it includes classrooms, drawing halls, laboratories, workshops, and associated facilities. The college is built in more than 4 lakh sq.ft. with a separate academic wing for each department, with academic and administrative block. The college aims to produce students with updated technical knowledge who realizes their full potential during their time of study. SAEC provides various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Engineering, they also provide doctoral programs in these disciplines. The College also offers Master of Computer Applications (MCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA). All these courses intake about 1110 students every year.
