Placements & Internships : Placement Training is provided by the college in the college where you'll be trained to solve the Aptitude Problems, Preparation for the GD(Group Discussions) round and how to conduct yourself for the HR interview. 

Placements & Internships : Placement Training is provided by the college in the college where you'll be trained to solve the Aptitude Problems, Preparation for the GD(Group Discussions) round and how to conduct yourself for the HR interview.  Internships are compulsory according to the University rules and norms. The college will provide the internship during the final year of the course. However, you can apply for the internships outside of the college too. Tech giants like Wipro, IBM and many startup companies hire students from the college for roles in IT, Sales and Marketing with average salary ranging from 2.5-4 lacs per annum. 

Entrance Exams & Admissions : 1. The eligibility criteria to get admission to Sambhram Institute Of Technology for the Computer Science And Engineering Course is a minimum of 55% aggregate in PCM in 10+2 or PUC for the General students and 50% aggregate in PCM for OBC students and 45% aggregate in PCM for the SC/ST students. For the Karnataka Students, the admission procedures include the Technical Entrance Examinations CET and COMEDK. For the Non-Karnataka students, COMEDK is the only Entrance Examination. Prior to the entrance examinations, admissions can also be taken under the Management Quota which is common to both the Karnataka and Non-Karnataka Students. 2. I took up the COMEDK UGET examination. 3. Cutoff varies every year. Typically, it ranges from 1-40,000 rank.   

Fees & Scholarships : Course Fee depends on your mode of admission. For CET, it varies from 50-60k per year. Under COMEDK, the course fee is 80k per year. Course fee under the management quota varies every year and you need to contact the college management and administration to get the exact figure. Scholarships are provided to SC/ST students and also to the CET students. You can even apply for the education loan. Contact the admission office of the college and they will guide you through the same. 

Academics & Faculty : Classes start from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Tea break is scheduled from 11:00-11:15 am. Lunch break is scheduled from 1:15-2:00 pm. Assignments are given to the students on a weekly basis. Also, you will be assigned mini-projects during your higher semesters which will help you improve your skills and knowledge. Exams are conducted in two modes. Internal and External. Internal exams will be conducted by the college itself and the External exams will be conducted by the University. Quality and method of teaching is a personal perspective. It depends on your ability to grasp the concepts. For me, the quality and method of teaching is Good. The overall experience in college is quite good. You will learn things both about engineering and life.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Girls hostels are provided inside the college campus and boys hostels are provided outside the college campus in an around 100m from the college main gate. There is also another boys hostels which is about 2-3kms away from the college campus. Bus facilities are provided.  You can also rent a room of your own or a PG  which are all available nearby the college area. PG costs around 5-6k per month. There's a canteen in the college where you can hangout with your friends and eat some very good foods at a pocket-friendly price. Classrooms are fine and you are always free to visit libraries which remain open from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. Labs are equipped with Computers and all the necessary equipment. 

Clubs & Associations : Cultural and sports events are conducted every semester by the students club of our college.  College festival named VIBEZ is conducted every year by the college management where different kinds of cultural, sports and technical events are conducted. In general, life in college is good.
