Placements & Internships : We get to work along with our Ph.D. professor projects which are very useful while studying at Sanjay Ghodawat Institute of Technology Management and Research, [SGITMR] Kolhapur. Companies like TCS, Vodafone, parle, ghodawat energies,jsw, Joshi etc have come up to our college.  Our previous batch has people placed in atlas cop co and Kirloskar at a very good post.  Alumni are working excellent be it in post grad studies or jobs or startups

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for my college was a cet exam with a minimum of 80 marks in the 1st cap round 60 in the 2nd and 50 in the 3rd. The admission procedure is confirmation of date allotment and then filling up the form of the college with the submission of original documents. I took cet and JEE MAIN examination for my college. Cut-offs vary from year to year. it was 60 for mechanical engineering.

Fees & Scholarships : BE fees atSri Vijaya Vittala Institute of Technology, [SVVIT] Bangalore are around  Rs.75 to 80 thousand. Scholarships are provided widely for students here. Loans are availed from majority of banks coz of college reputation of Sanjay Ghodawat Institute of Technology Management and Research, [SGITMR] Kolhapur.

Academics & Faculty : 6 hours work out of which 2 or 4 hrs practical or lecture with compulsory 2 hrs lecture or project work or vice versa. Quality is excellent. The faculty is young and cooperative and very helpful

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Hostel fees for 6 months is 20 thousand. There are plentiful of hostels. Cost per meal is Rs.40 and there is an excellent food court for fast food. Also on monthly basis, the mess fee is Rs.1300 Rs.1400 and Rs.1500 respectively. The labs are multi-facilitated with the excellent ambiance at sgi and with wifi service as well as space for student friendly environment. It is amazing for student life.

Clubs & Associations : Rotaract club, speed, sae, ishrae, lead, mesa, cesa, etc are the student societies clubs in the college. Festivals like vibrant, umang, mridangam are held at SGITMR. It is amazing to see the college being spectacular in this span.
