Santosh University is located in Ghaziabad and is affiliated with Charan Singh University until 2007 and then was declared a Deemed University by the Ministry of Human Resource, Government of India. Santosh University serves as a unique institution delivering quality medical/dental education and services. Santosh University Admission

• Santosh University offers admission to a number of students every year and it has been found that the percentage of admission is increasing rapidly every year. For all other UG and PG courses, admission is subject to candidates' marks in the last qualifying examination.
• For a PhD, the university conducts a separate entrance test followed by an interview. CSIR NET/ UGC NET/ ICMR or equivalent exam passed candidates are also eligible for admission.
• The application form can be downloaded from the official website of the university. For NEET-UG and NEET-PG-based courses, initially, the candidates have to apply for the entrance separately.

Santosh University Eligibility Criteria

The courses offered by Santosh University have different eligibility criteria which the students must qualify in order to get admission to the colleges. The eligibility criteria for the different courses are mentioned below:

MBBS

MBBS is a full-time program offered at Santosh University. The duration of the program is 5 years. The candidate must have passed 10+2 with PCB from a recognized university

MDS

MDS is a postgraduate program offered at Santosh University. The duration of the program is 3 years. It has specializations in Periodontology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Prosthodontics & Crown and Bridge, Oral Pathology & Microbiology, Prosthodontics Crown & Bridge and Paediatrics & Preventive Dentistry.

• The candidate must have passed BDS from a recognized university
• The candidate must have a valid score in NEET MDS

PGD 

PGD is a postgraduate diploma program offered at Santosh University. The duration of the program is 2 years. It has specializations in Orthopedics (D.Ortho), Obstetrics & Gynaecology (DGO), Tuberculosis & Chest Diseases (DTCD), Psychological Medicine (DPM), Anaesthesia (DA), Clinical Pathology (DCP), Public Health (D.P.H.), Forensic Medicine (DFM), Child Health (DCH), Ophthalmology (DO) and Oto–Rhino-Laryngology (DLO).

• The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
• The candidate must have a valid score in NEET PG followed by university-based counselling

M.Sc

M.Sc (Nursing) is a postgraduate program offered at Santosh University. The duration of the program is 5 years. It has specializations in Medical-Surgical, Community Health, Mental Health, OBG, Pediatrics, etc. 

• Candidate must have passed B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic Nursing B.Sc with 50% marks in aggregate with one year of relevant work experience

MPT

MPT is a postgraduate program offered at Santosh University. The duration of the program is 2 years. It has specializations in Neurology, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, etc. Candidate must have passed BPT with 50% marks in aggregate

MOT 

MOT is a postgraduate program offered at Santosh University. The duration of the program is 2 years. It has specializations in Neurology, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, etc. Candidate must have passed BOT with 50% marks in aggregate

Ph.D

Ph.D is a full-time program offered at Santosh University. The duration of the program is 3 years. It has specializations in Anatomy, Pharmacology, Maxillofacial Surgery, Microbiology, Physiology, Biochemistry, etc.

• Candidate must have M.Sc or M.Sc in Behavioural Science in a subject related to Bio-Medical Sciences OR MS OR MDS (for only Dental subjects) OR MD or an equivalent degree in the disciplines like Anatomy/ Physiology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Pharmacology/ Maxillofacial Surgery. Candidates with a degree in M.Sc. Medical Anatomy, M.Sc. Medical Physiology, M.Sc. Medical Biochemistry, M.Sc. Medical Microbiology or M.Sc. Medical Pharmacology is also eligible for admission

Santosh University Scholarships

• SU Scholarship amount for an individual is up to 1,00,000 INR per annum.

Criteria

• PG NEET-2021 Qualifier.
• Registered in Central Government counselling for Deemed Universities conducted by DGHS.
• Must have selected BDS course from Santosh Dental College. 
• Mandatory allotment through DGHS counselling for BDS course from Santosh Dental College, Ghaziabad or should be eligible as per
• Eligible candidate list issued by DGHS counselling for Stray Vacancy round of Santosh Deemed to be university as per counselling schedule & scheme.
• The student should be a resident of India.

• Academic achievement with the exceptional ability & potential would be given preference.
• Consideration also for deserving candidates with financial needs.
• The scholarship amount would be finalized by the Scholarship Committee post receiving an application full filling all the above criteria.
• The scholarship is for Tuition fees only, all expenses other than Tuition fees if any would be self-borne by the student.
• Course completion is mandatory and Annual performance would be evaluated each year for continuation of the scholarship.
• Preference would be given to the Alumni of Santosh Deemed to be University.

Santosh University Infrastructure Facilities

Santosh University provides all the facilities to its students for better education and accommodation. All the requirements are fulfilled and looked after by the college premises. The Santosh University has a wide radius of facilities available for students. Some of the facilities are mentioned below.

Administrative Block

• The administrative block of the university is located on the 4th floor and houses the offices of the  Chancellor, the Vice-Chancellor, the Dean, the Registrar, the Controller of Examinations and the Finance Controller.

Central Library

• The central library is located on the first and the second floor of the University and is spread over an area of 4000 sq. m.
• The library is open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• It has a huge collection of books, journals, and reference materials.
• It also offers a photocopying facility and internet connectivity.
• It also has a reading room which is used by the students and staff.

Lecture Theatres

• Santosh University houses an adequate number of lecture theatres, which are comfortably spaced and equipped with student lockers, audio-visual aids, projection microscopes, computers, and internet facilities, required for seamless learning.
• It is supported by demonstration rooms, seminar rooms and a departmental library.

Laboratory

• The university laboratories are well equipped with microscopes, artificial lights, electrical points, washing facilities, and preparation rooms.
• It also has dedicated labs for certain departments.
• Apart from the general laboratory facilities, they are also furnished with some special equipment, such as MRI and CT machines, wherever required.
• The laboratories also have museums with specimens and models related to the different departments along with catalogs for easy referencing.

Auditorium

• Santosh University houses an excellent auditorium with a sitting capacity of more than 500 people.

Pharmaco Vigilance Center

• The Government of India has identified Santosh University as the regional centre for Pharmaco Vigilance Programs, located in the Pharmacology Department at Santosh Medical College.

Residential Quarters

• The university also provides residential facilities for its teaching and non-teaching staff.
• 58 quarters are allocated to the teaching faculty and 121 quarters are allocated to the non-teaching staff.

Canteen

• There are two canteens providing food to the students, hospital staff, and visitors.
• There is also a separate canteen cum mess, which provides meals to the students staying in the hostels.
