Sarsuna College was established in Kolkata as a result of the efforts of an Educational Society which was formed by the local residents of Sarsuna. It was set up in 1999. It was set up in order to provide quality education to the meritorious students belonging to the economically backward sections of the society.

The college affiliated to Calcutta University offers courses in various disciplines. It has spacious and well-lit classrooms. The central library in the college provides a large number of books and reference texts to the students. The college also indulges in extending their service to the society by organizing blood donation camps, awareness campaigns, tree plantations, etc.

It offers faculties who are qualified and experienced.  It also provides the best infrastructure to the students. The UGC and other bodies have contributed to the development of these facilities.
