Placements & Internships : Tata Consultancy Services(TCS) hire nearly 1000 engineers from the college every year. Other main companies include Hyundai, L&T. The highest salary you can get when placed through campus interview is INR 10,00,000 (Ten lakhs) per annum.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admissions will be based only on merit. There will be two streams for admissions. Stream 1 is the All India rank and stream 2 is  the Trichy and Thanjavur rank. Stream 2 is the easiest one than stream 2. You will come under stream 2 if you finish both of your 10th and 12th standard in either Trichy or Thanjavur district. The most demanded courses are CSE, ECE, and Mechanical.  

Fees & Scholarships : SASTRA University, Thanjavur Management Fee Structure. The fee for my course is Rs 1,20,000 per year. And when you get admitted through NRI quota, your fee structure will be INR 2,40,000 per annum.

Academics & Faculty : Class timing is from 8:45AM to 5:15PM. Mostly you will get 30 lectures per week. There will be two end semester examinations. Between two semester examinations you have to write 3 CIAs which will decide your internals for the semester examination.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : For boys, there are 9 hostels and for girls, there are 5 hostels inside the campus. If you stay within 80km radius from the campus, then you will become ineligible for hostel accommodation. In this case, you can stay in the hostels paying Rs 5000 (approx) per month. And when you stay in the campus hostel you have to pay Rs 1000 per month. Food is completely vegetarian and you can have Non-veg outside the campus. Mess fee will be around Rs 3000 per month. The campus will be clean and good and you can find nice desks and tables in the classrooms. Wifi is available throughout the campus with good connectivity speed.

Clubs & Associations : Student societies include Team E-cell, Team Daksh, Team Utsav. Cultural events are Carpediem which is intracollege and KURUK SASTRA which is intercollege cultural fest. Sport events include FUERA which is intracollege championship and Colosseum which is intercollege championship.
