Saveetha Engineering College, Chennai is an autonomous body, established in 2001. The pioneer of SEC was Saveetha medical and educational fund. SEC has an enrollment of 4349 students in 12 UG courses, 8 PG courses incorporating MBA and PhD students. It is affiliated with Anna University. The institute aims to provide top-class education in the field of engineering and technology. SEC focuses on nurturing the students by imparting knowledge through holistic training. The campus is spread over 120 acres facing Chembarambakkam lake on the Chennai-Bangalore National Highway. It offers a perfect environment for both teaching and learning. College objectives are to be recognized for setting the standard of excellence in engineering education and high-quality research in the field of science and technology.

SEC Admission

The SEC admission is initiated by filling the registration form on the website admission@saveetha.ac.in, by registering as prospective SEC student by calling at  91 8939902737 or by applying in the campus office. The students are allocated an admission counsellor for guidance, who will further familiarise the students with cut offs and admission criteria. To know about the eligibility criteria, the college provides

• Single window counselling which is supervised by DOTE through Tamil nadu engineering admissions (TNEA) and;
• Counselling conducted by the consortium of self-financing Professional, Arts and Science Colleges in TN.
