Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech
- Candidate must have passed 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent Examination recognized by State / Central Government.
- Candidate must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject.
- The General category candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks
- 40% is required for SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State.
- Candidate must have attempted in the COMEDK Entrance Test

- Candidate must have obtained a Bachelor's Degree under 10+2+3 system.
- Candidate should have a 50% of aggregate minimum marks taken together in all the subjects for all the years of the Degree examination.
- 45% of aggregate marks is required in case of reserved candidates.

Application Process for B.Tech, MBA, M.Tech
- Purchase Admission Application form by paying Rs.450/- by cash at the Counter
- Read all the instructions carefully and fill the application form.
- All fields must be filled in Block Letters.
- D.D. / cash must be remitted to Bank through challans along with the Application form.
- Submit the completed Application Form along with documents & bank receipt.
- If you want hostel accommodation, buy a hostel admission form for 25 Rs and submit it along with the Application Form.
- Candidates must submit filled in Application form and DD/Cash remitted Challans, at the admission counter & obtain acknowledgment.

Admission Process for B.Tech, MBA, M.Tech
- Admissions will start after the result is announced for the Qualifying Entrance Examination.
- For UG Courses, Qualifying Entrance Examination is COMEDK
- For PG Courses, Qualifying Entrance Examination is PGCET
- The merit list will be prepared solely on the basis of the marks obtained in the Entrance Test.
- Marks obtained by the candidate in qualifying examination will not be considered. The qualifying examination marks is considered only for eligibility.
- All the candidates must produce Study Certificate.
- Candidates belonging to reserved categories should submit caste/income certificate as the case may be, issued by the Tahasildar
- Candidates must also bring all the Original Certificates they had attached with the Application Form.

Placements & Internships : The key companies that hire from the campus are TCS, Infosys, Radyses, Cognizant, Sony, and many more. The average salary package offered is INR 3.5 lakh per annum, and the highest package offered is INR 12.75 lakhs per annum. The alumni network is good.

Placements & Internships : The placement starts in the 7th semester. the mass recruiters like Accenture are the first to visit. the core companies for respective branches recruit less than a dozen but many do visit. the college placement cell doesn't allow you to sit for more companies if you are already shortlisted by one mass recruiter and one core company. Some mass recruiters even take training in the campus even before you graduate.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : We can join SDMCET in many ways, through KCET or JEE MAIN or COMEDK UGET. I took KCET for my course but I suggest JEE MAIN. The cutoff rank for CS was 34,000 in COMEDK UGET.
Placements & Internships : The highest salary package is INR 4 lakhs per annum. The alumni network is good.
Fees & Scholarships : I took management seat of computer science engineering for INR 2.5 lakh per annum. There is KCET or JEE MAIN exam where you can get the seat with some cheaper fee. The scholarship is available for lower caste candidates. Yes, you can easily get educational loans from any bank.
Academics & Faculty : Most of the time it's half day. Professors give projects and assignments for internal marks. Quality of teaching is good and method of teaching is a mixture of advance and old-school methods.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Total of 4 hostels is there in our campus separated for boys and girls as I am day scholar I don't know much about it.
Clubs & Associations : There are many societies, clubs, and association in the college and there are dance groups, singing groups, and drama groups we you can join them if you want to participate in the cultural activities. The main festival in the campus is Insignia where dance, singing, drama and some more compitations are held at national level and celebrities are invited in it.
