Facilities :-

Hostels

Hostel facilities are available both for boys & girls. The hostel rooms are fully equipped with adequate furniture & fixtures. Every boarder is provided with a chair, a table, a cot and an almirah. 24 Hour Power backup is available in the hostel. Internet Facility is also available in both the Hostels. The facilities for common room , indoor games , Guest Room, Tel. (STD- PCO) etc.are also available in the hostel. Dinning hall has a sitting capacity up to 150 students at a time. The following hostels are operational at present: 5 Boys Hostels (873 seats) & 2 Girls Hostels (493 seats). Each hostel is managed by a full time warden working under the guidance of a Chief Warden.

Library

Library is the nerve centre of knowledge and is virtually the heart of an Academic Institution. To inform, inspire, disseminate and develop its users intellectually/technically  the library maintains National/International Print Journals/Magazines * News Papers * Educational Video  Cassettes/CDs and Maps etc. The library operates Open Access System. The collection of books and other reading materials are being built at a fast rate. There are over 46880 books and about 2964 educational video cassettes & CDs with viewing facilities in the library. All the library books are classified according to DDC 20th edition. The library subscribes to two online Journal packages, 119 National Print Journals and 16 News Papers. The Library is fully computerized. DELNET facilities connect the institute library with more than 4000 country wide libraries for availing of ILL (Inter Library Loan) and DDS (Document Delivery Services) facilities. The Library remains open from 9.25 AM to 8.00 PM. on all working days. Total no. of membership of Library is 3500.
 
Internet Facility

The internet in today's world is the basic need of every student because every student want to learn in faster way and they can achieve it through internet . The campus of JMIT provides :

WiFi Facility

The internet in now a days become a very useful source of knowledge. To increase the students abilities , campus provides the facility of wi-fi , so that the educational skills of students not only garnished by the faculty but students can also learn as fast they can from Internet. The wi-fi campus not only fulfill the requirements of education but it also make a connection with outer world from any part of the campus very easily. There is a separate IT-CELL for maintain the proper and fair uses of College Internet. Campus Internet is secured by MAC Registration, Account login over SSL, WPA2 Encryption so that no illegal activities would not go un-noticed and proper actions can be taken if any one found indulged in these things. To fulfill all the needs of SPEED, the bandwidth of the campus increased to 8Mbps which will be increased in future if required.

Internet Lanb

The internet labs are also provided in the campus with well maintained computers . The students are provided proper education with all facilities that can make them learn as fast as possible . The Internet not only make the educational help but also make students connected with their outer world .

Auditorium

The facility of auditorium is available in JMIT and it helps to gather all the students of different branches under one roof. It provides the stage to show the skills of art and management.The auditorium has sitting capacity of 1200 students .All the functions and competitions are successfully organized there. It has three story building with fully air-conditioned atmosphere having facilities of fire alarms and practice rooms. Guest Lectures, Workshops, Convocation, Pre-placement activities take place in Auditorium. Annual Blood donation camp is also organized in it. The location of Auditorium is near the gate of the college.

Central Facilities

Dispensary

College has an on-campus dispensary to facilitate students with first-aid and minor health issues. There is a Doctor hired by college specially for this purpose who is available during college hours.

Gym

The campus are provided Gyms in their hostels . We think a student must be highly skilled with proper health . To make this requirement full-fill gyms are maintained with proper ventillation Systems and well-equipped machines . There are four Gyms in the campus with proper machines so that every one can take care of their physicues .

Play Grounds

College has two very big open luss-green grounds within campus which are used by students for various sports like Cricket, Baseball, Football, Vollyball, BasketBall etc. Also these grounds are used for various functions organised either by Students or by College administration.

Canteen

The facility of canteen is also provided in the college premises . The canteen is that part of the campus where students can relax with their friends and the canteen consists of a seperate cabin of staff . The canteen provides the facility of healthy food and a friendly environment to make students comfortable in the campus.

Fire Alarms

The facility of fire alarms are available in the campus so that any kind of accidents can be stopped and the students feel secure at every part of the campus. There is always a person present at the main monitoring center of Fire-Alarm system so that any unfortunate event would not go un-noticed and further loss can be prevented.

Securiry Cameras

The cameras are available at every part of the campus so any kind of mishappening can be stopped at much faster rate . The college security provides full security to the all people in the campus. Rain Water Harvesting

Rain water harvesting system is currently being established in the college campus. This will be a big step towards the natural resuorces utilization.

Solar Power Harvesting

All the hostels are equipped with SOLAR WATER HEATERS which ensures Hot water supply in winters and also helps in reducing power consumption thus helps in keeping the environment Clean and safe.

Bank

There is a branch of Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) is within college campus. Also an OBC ATM is within campus so if a student needs money he can get it any time.
