Infrastructure Facilities at Sharda Group of Institutions, [SGI] Mathura:

The institute has state of the art infrastructure facilities. All the basic amenities required for the students are present on the college campus. The facilities provided by Hindustan colleges are mentioned below:

Campus:

• The Hindustan college has digital classrooms with Wi-Fi enabled projectors.
• Tutorial rooms.
• Multiple libraries, along with an e-library
• State-of-the-art seminar rooms.
• Multiple fully equipped auditoriums. 

Classrooms:

• The institute has Wifi enabled classrooms.
• Classrooms at Hindustan Institute of Management and Computer Studies are equipped with overhead LCD projectors and OHPs.
• Students at Sharda Group of Institutions can discuss academic topics, share notes and submit assignments through the internet.

Auditorium:

• Hindustan College has one big auditorium and six media centres to promote the conduct of international, national and other institution events such as conferences, workshops, seminars, meetings, placement programs, and cultural events.
• Both auditoriums are well-furnished, air-conditioned and equipped with modern projection and audio systems with access to the internet.
• The auditoriums feature fixed traditional theatre-style seating, raised stage, adjustable lighting, sound system, large screen for video and computer presentations, and vaulted ceiling and are designed in such a way that they ensure a perfect view of the main stage irrespective of the seating location of the audience.

Library:

• The library acts as a knowledge centre for the students at the institute.
• Central Library serves the academic needs of about 4500 students and 325 faculty & staff members.
• The college library is fully computerized, has bar code technology with all modern facilities and resources such as CD-Rom, Online database, Journals, Audio-Video Cassettes, Dissertations/Project reports etc.
• Central Library also has a separate computer lab with 10 computers with internet facility.
• The collection of the Central Library has grown to more than 1,19,738 books and more than 1000 bound journals/periodicals. 
• The library has 205 Periodicals, 1.5 Lac books, 11 departmental libraries, and 10,000 book titles.
• The library at Hindustan Institute of Management and Computer Studies is fully computerized. It offers 27 different types of learning media with a collection of over 59,245 volumes including the most recent publications in diverse areas of business, economics and management.
• There are 63 hard copies of periodicals-journal and magazines for business management and computers.

Sports:

• There are several well-equipped gyms and fitness clubs offering services like yoga, step, aerobics, etc.
• The institute organises annual sports meets that help the students to show their athletic talents.
• The facilities are accessible all year round for use for all. 
• At HIMCS, there is a prestigious day-night cricket tournament organized every year and it is the most awaited tournament of the year for the students of the college.
• The college has has a spacious playground with the proper courts for basketball, volleyball, lawn tennis and table tennis. Billiards and a well equipped and huge gymnasium is also available.

Cafeteria:

• There are about 10 cafeterias located in different blocks of the campus at Hindustan College of Science and Technology.
• The cafeterias and other eateries function on the ‘Pay as you eat concept’.
• Apart from cafeterias, the campus also holds mini refreshment joints and vending machines etc.
• Leading restaurants and Food Chains would open their outlets in the Central Food Court soon.
• Lego House, Amul Milk Parlour, Urban Thali, Café Coffee Day, Nestle are already running their outlets on the campus.

Hostel:

• SGI takes special care for students who are away from home.
• Hostel facilities provided at the institute provides a peaceful and friendly environment for students.
• The hostels have all the facilities required for the students like TV/ Common Rooms, Lounge, warden on-site, 24/ 7 wifi facility etc.
• A wide range of cultural, athletic and social activities options are available to the students.

Healthcare:

• SGI offers a medical facility to its students at the campus.
• Medical aid is offered on mental consultation, minor injuries and illness.
• An ambulance service is also available at the campus.
• First-aid facilities are provided by the medical assistants and trained students.

Transport:

• Sharda Group of Institutions also provides transportation facilities.
• The institute has a fleet of buses and vans that provide transportation for students and staff members.
• The buses ply on different routes of Agra, Mathura and other Firozabad areas to pick and drop the students.
• The bus facility is also available for students and faculty members for industrial visits, field trips, and other academic activities. 

Students Activity Centre:

• With more than 20 clubs broadly classified under Cultural, Sports and Technical Societies, the student’s activity centre at the Hindustan College provides students with a platform to showcase their knowledge/talents and assist in their overall growth.
• Photography, radio, dramatics, football, basketball, cricket, technical club, etc are there for the students.
• The Hindustan college has also partnered with SPIC MACAY (Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth) to provide students and staff of Sharda an opportunity to not only attend high-quality cultural events on the campus but also to explore and enhance their cultural talents.
