Library 

The SGRRIMHS has a Centralized A.C. Central Library, which supports the teaching and extension programmes of the college. The Central Library is Fully Automated using " SOUL" (Software for university library under command of INFLIBNET Centre Ahmedabad )as a Library Software and well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of books, journals, back volume of journals, WHO publications, CD ROMs and internet services. The library strives to provide timely, accurate and current information, and to provide an appropriate and comfortable academic environment for the users. 

The Audio-visual Facilities Available

• Lecture Theater - Five, with all audiovisual facilities. 3(180) + 1(350) + 1(150)
• Three lecture halls are with a seating capacity of 180 each and one with 350 seating capacity. All are provided with a side room and a projection room.
• Examination Hall 250 Seats, Auditorium 750 Seats.
• Lecture theatres are also used for guest lectures, clinical meetings, debates and quiz contests, conferences/seminars/workshops, and cultural activities including film shows.
• Audio amplifying system including audio mixers and speakers with cord and cordless mikes (collar & hand mikes).
• Audio recording and playing facilities.
• Projection facilities including motorized screens, overhead projectors, LCD projectors, DVD player and laptops for PowerPoint presentations.
• Electronic cable connection with cameras between the surgical operation theatre of the hospital and the lecture theatre for direct interactive audio-visual transmission of surgeries to the audience in the lecture theatre.
• 16 mm movie projection facilities for film shows.
• Epidiascopes for projections from books.
• C.R. facilities.
• Telemedicine facility for video-conferencing. It can be linked to several institutions as well as to our primary health centres and is useful for academic, research and health services. 

Hostels 

Hostel Boys 

SGRRIMHS has well furnished hostel accommodation to accommodate 500 students separately for boys and girls. Staying in the hospital is compulsory for all students. Hostel rooms are well built and spacious , and are available on a twin-sharing basis. Each room is provided with two beds, two wardrobes, two study tables and a chair each.. Water purifiers and water coolers are provided for potable water.

Cafeteria

To meet the need of outdoor/indoor patients and visitors, a cafeteria has been established within the hospital complex. A sumptuous vegetarian meal is available at affordable rates. Routine, snacks, tea, coffee and cold drinks are also available. 

Mess

The hostel block has been provided with up to date, well built, spacious and a spic and span mess. The food is served from a most modern central kitchen which maintains safe and hygienic food standards. Boys and girls have separate mess units. Only vegetarian food is served. The daily meals include breakfast, lunch, evening tea with snacks and dinner. Water purifiers and water coolers are provided for safe drinking water.
