The University has had academic excellence for over twenty years and has widely recognized Medical and Nursing colleges. The campus offers seven different schools.  They are the Himalayan School of Science & Technology, Himalayan School of Management Studies, Himalayan School of BioSciences, Himalayan School of Yoga Science, Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Himalayan College of Nursing and Himalayan School of Vocational Studies & Skill Development.

SRHU has set certain eligibility criteria for courses depending on the type of course chosen. Below are some courses along with their eligibility criteria.

MD Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have passed an MBBS degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.  Admission to all the programs will be done on the basis of the score obtained in NEET.

MS Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with at least 50% marks. For MD, MS and PG Diploma course students must hold an MBBS degree from a recognized university.  Admission to all the programs will be done on the basis of the score obtained in NEET.
