Library

A good library is needed to maintain a healthy atmosphere in any college. The library is in fact, the epicenter of any educational institution from where knowledge spreads in all directions.

The library covers a total area of 1800 sq fts. It has three sections. The right wing of the same size, is meant for the reading activities of teachers. There are four cubicles with the sitting capacity of eight persons. Moreover, a big cupboard has been installed in this section, wherein are placed most of the audio-visual facilities of the college. Facilities have been provided to arrange an audio-visual show for fifty students at a time, in the library itself.

Computer Centre

The Department of Computer Science was added to the College in the year 1994. This department is headed by Prof. Piyushbhai Patel, who is admired by students for his clarity, logic and vision. he believes in innovative teaching methods. He is admired for his interactive approach and proper guidance. His teaching as well as his practical approach has proved to be very beneficial not only to his students but also to the College administrative functions.

The Department has three, laboratories (DELL, NRC & Computer Lab) and 106 computers. In addition, the Department also has licensed software related to education and professional work which is constantly being updated. The Department has a rich collection of subject related books.

The Department combines the lecture method with practical sessions for effective teaching. As in every other department, the faculty in the department of Computer Science also provides informal academic and personal counselling to its students.

Professor Patel has actively participated in Orientation Programmes, Refresher Courses, Conferences and Seminars. Professor Patel functions on various committees to look after Examination Work, Administrative Work and Work related to Extra-curricular activities.

The Department proposes to constantly upgrade the various facilities and resources of the Department, i.e. student facilities, hardware and software. The Department proposes to organize a refresher course in Basic Computer Skills for the teaching and non-teaching staff.

Sports

The college has a rich history of Sports, Students Activities are not only well planned but they are well prepared and enough motivated. The students proficient in sports and extracurricular activities are not only awarded and appreciated but they are given partial or complete fee waivers under the command & control of Ms.Gayatri Vasava, Director of P.E. yet the college is performing remarkably well in its sports activities. The Sports In-charge, in support with the college administrative and teaching staff, is taking care of the college sport. The college sports persons are representing our college at university Inter-zonal Levels, University Levels and Inter-University Levels. Our sportsmen are representing our college at the state level and Inter-state level also. We have very good sports complex which includes Basket Ball court, Volleyball ground, turf wicket cricket ground with pavilion, Athletic ground & well equipped Gymnasium.
