Siddharth Institute of Engineering & Technology, [SIETK] Puttur was established in the year 2001 and it has emerged as a center for excellence in Engineering and Management education. It is an autonomous college that is accredited by the National Board of Accreditations [NBA] for five programs & NAAC with an ‘A’ grade. The institution is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur. SIETK is also an ISO 9001: 2008 certified institution.

SIETK courses include graduate and post-graduate degrees in the field of engineering, MCA & MBA. The institution is recognized as “Best Engineering Colleges in South India” for excellence in education in 2013 by ASSOCHAM. SIETK is recognized by Andhra Pradesh State Govt. as an "A" Grade Institution. The colleges have got Institutional Membership of “The Indian Society for Technical Education” and also ISTE Students Chapter.

Siddharth Institute of Engineering & Technology Admissions:

Admission to courses in SIETK is based on past academic merit and scores in the qualifying examinations followed by an entrance test and counseling. For admission in B.Tech, 70% of the seats are allotted based on the merit in EAMCET and 30% of the seats are reserved for NRI students. Diploma holders are admitted in the 2nd year of B.Tech to the extent and 10% intake is based on the merit in ECET, under the lateral entry scheme. For MBA and MCA admissions, 70% of the seats are allotted based on the merit in ICET and 30% of the seats are reserved for NRI students.

Siddharth Institute of Engineering & Technology Hostel Details:

SIETK facilities include hostels for both boys and girls equipped with modern facilities. There is also a canteen nearby the hostel campus and mineral water plants are situated everywhere in the hostels.
