Campus

The SMS Institute of Technology, Lucknow an architectural marvel is situated on 19th Kilometer stone of Lucknow-Sultanpur Highway (NH 56).

The SMS Institute of Technology, Lucknow has come up with a sprawling lush-green Campus spreading over an area of over 16 acres. The Institute has been equipped with all modern amenities and facilities that are comparable to the best Technical institutions of the county. The SMSIT campus encompasses all modern amenities and facilities that are comparable to the best technical institutions of the county. Library

Library is the mirror of every institution and it reflects how serious an institute is towards the education of their students. SMS Institute of Technology, Lucknow was started in 2008. Great care has been taken to see that the library should be one of the finest libraries of Engineering & Technology in Lucknow. It is growing steady in the means of its resources, facilities and services. The library of SMSIT, Lucknow is modern and digital having Libsys Software. It has collection of almost all the types of documents available in various Medias, in the field of Engineering & Technology.

Collection

The library of SMSIT, Lucknow at present has total collection of around 9,000 books with 1520 numbers of titles. Apart from this, there is also a significant collection of 60 journals (national and international), magazines and non-print materials that includes 300 CD-ROMs, etc. Books are basically organized by the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) scheme, and cataloguing is based on AACR-II.

Conference Hall

The Institute's Conference Hall, with a seating capacity of 100, is fully air-conditioned and equipped with all modern amenities. It is extensively used for Management Development Programmes, Workshops, Conferences and other such technical events. SMSIT provide itself in having one of the best Conference facilities in any one of the Engineering Institute across the nation. The Conference Room is acoustically designed and aesthetically decorated. The Conference Room is fitted with all the modern audio-visual gadgets which includes LCD Projector, Computer, sony 's DVD System and Dennon CD Players alongwith Video Conferencing Facilities. No Conference Room in any Engineering Institute sounds better because SMSIT Conference Room is fitted with World's best sound solution, provided by Bose Corporation, USA. With uniform Sound Pressure Level (SPL) all across the room, SMSIT also has world's best shure micro phone system to add to the listening pleasure of the audience. We have established our Conference Room as most preferred place for academia and people from the Industry.

Departmental Conference Hall

Besides the main conference hall each department has its own conference hall with capacity of 100 seats. These conference hall are equipped with all modern audio visual gadgets.

Seminar Hall & Multipurpose Hall

The Institute has a big Seminar Hall, with a seating capacity of 500. It is used for the large- scale National and International Seminars and Symposia. It encompasses all the electronic equipments and other training aids essential for the high-profiled academic and business events. It is also fitted with the sound system of Bose Corporation U.S.A.

Class Rooms

The spacious class-rooms possess all modern teaching aids including connectivity through LAN for network access. The seating contours are specially designed for comfort which are necessary for concentrated study.

Hostels

The SMSIT provides comfortable and well-furnished hostel accommodation both for boys and girls students separately. The boys is in the campus. Facilities for indoor games and recreation are also available in the hostel premises, besides the Library and Reading room facilities. The comfort level in the hostel rooms is comparable with the best institutes in the country.

Cafeteria

Two separate Cafeterias, one for the staff and the other for the students, are incorporated in the main building, providing quality snacks and food items from dawn to dusk. They possess a total seating capacity of around 200 at a time.

Sports Ground

The Institute has a big sports ground for various outdoor games and also has a facility for indoor games. SMSIT organize annual sports meet for all the streams.
