The SMS Institute of Technology, Lucknow is introducing a scheme for Scholarship for the Session 2011 - 2012 to benefits the aspirant and talented students passing out (10 + 2).

The scheme is described below:

Percentage (10 + 2)	Scholarship
60 to 70%	Rs. 5,000/-
70+ to 80%	Rs. 10,000/-
above 80%	Rs. 15,000/-

Note:

The above % of marks are applicable to U. P. Board students Only
The 5% marks should be added extra for the CBSE, ICSe and other Boards.

Scholarships to SMS Student offered by Uttar Pradesh State Government

Uttar Pradesh Government has started a scheme of giving scholarship and fee reimbursement of Students whose parent’s yearly income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 1 Lac to alleviate the financial burden of students of all the categories.

Scholarships for the weaker section are provided through the Samaj Kalyan Vibhag, U. P. Government. The basic criteria for govt. scholarships are as follows:

• Guardian must have their annual income less than Rs.100000.
• Student must have a good academic record.
• besides the scholarship, an amount of Rs. 3300/- is also awarded by the govt. as a study scholarship annually to the students.

ORA Scholarship
ORA (Operation Recognition Acumen) is a talent hunt scheme organized by SMS Lucknow at different 10+2 colleges in various places, in which winners will be entitled to the following scholarship :

(only for students of B.Tech / BCA / BBA at Lucknow Campus)

* Students are eligible to opt any one of the above scholarship schemes whichever is higher and this scholarship is only for 1st year.

Bank Finance (Tie-up with PNB)
On the basis of commendable work accomplished by SMS Institute of Technology in Management & Computer education, most of the front line bankers are offering financing facilities to its students for their entire course fee and necessary expenses during studies.

Moreover, SMS Institute of Technology has been approved by Punjab National Bank, for extending education loan facility to its new students, under the recent tie-up between SMS and PNB. This association encourages the new student entrants of SMS to apply for financing arrangements under Vidyalakshyapurti Scheme of PNB for their course fee at SMS. This funding facility is applicable for all the programs of SMS Institute of Technology, Lucknow.

2. Secured admission to Professional / Technical courses in India or abroad through Entrance Test / Merit based Selection process..

Purchase of books / equipments / instruments / uniforms

4.Caution Deposit / Building Fund / Refundable Deposit supported by Institution Bills / Receipts, subject to the condition that the amount does not exceed 10% of the total tution fee for entire course..

Travel Expenses / Passage money for studies abroad.
Purchase of computers - essential for completion of the Course.
Insurance premium for student borrower
Boarding and lodging expenses in recognised Boarding Houses / private accomondations
Any other expense required to complete the course - like study tours, project work, thesis etc.
