Sarojini Naidu Medical College (SNMC) is among the oldest medical colleges, situated in Agra, Uttar Pradesh established in the year 1854. Approved by the MCI and affiliated with TNU, SNMC is in the league of premier medical colleges with 51 courses spread across six sections with medical, pharmacy, Science, Paramedical, and dental streams. Its most sought courses are MBBS, BDS, MD, MS in surgical streams, and Post Graduate Diplomas. Apart from a well-established academic base, research and innovation are the main achievements of SNMC. The college believes in the ‘all-round development’ of the child, as seen through the progressive facilities, the inclusion of extra-academic activities, and the affiliations the college has with other national and international institutions. SNMC Agra Courses

SNMC Agra’s annual fees stand between Rs 102,000, and it varies depending on the course degree level and duration, and specializations. Currently, the college teaches 51 programs, which are presented at the Diploma, Postgraduate, and Undergraduate levels. According to courses, SNMC Agra offers 1 MBBS course at the undergraduate level as well as 1 BDS course. At the postgraduate level, the students find 17 MD courses and 11 MS (Surgery) in different disciplines. Applications for the academic year 2024-25 have been rolled out. This college holds NEET for acceptance and recognizes scores from JEECUP also NEET PG.

SNMC  Agra Admission

SNMC Agra Eligibility Criteria

Below listed are the courses and their specific eligibility criteria that are necessary at the time of admission to SNMC. Students falling under the SC, ST, OBC, and PwD categories will have a 10% waiver on the outstanding score secured.

MBBS Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must secure an average score of 50% in the 10+2 examinations.
• NEET UG rank must be valid and meet the cutoff requirements to enroll for MBBS.
• Selection will be based on merit.
• There will be a counseling round that the candidate must undergo.

MD/MS Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have an MBBS degree that is certified.
• The rank secured at the NEET PG is considered during the selection process.
• At least one internship program must be completed.

Diploma Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must attain the age of 17 years. The upper limit is 25 years.
• Marks secured in the 10+2 examination must be at least 50%.
• Selection is based on the ranks secured in the NEET UG examination.

SNMC Agra Cutoff

Sarojini Naidu Medical College NEET PG 2024 Round 1 cutoff has been published. In the first round, the closing ranks for the MD program varied from 1,780 to 87,401 under the General All-India quota. Out of all the offered MD specializations, MD in General Medicine was the most competitive, with a round 1 cutoff of 1879 in 2022. Analyzing the level of competition for places in the MS program, it was found that the most popular specialization among the students was MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, whereas the least chosen specialization by students under the General AI quota was MS in Orthopaedics. As of now there are no scholarships available other than for students belonging to weaker sections of society having an annual parental income below two lakhs. It means that these students can get scholarships from the SKV (Samaj Kalyan Vibhag ).
