Sri Lakshmi Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences library has a rich collection of materials that support education, research and patient care. It is well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of CD-ROM, online databases, books, journals, back volumes of journals. The Library at SLIMS is committed to provide a world-class information support to its users with facilities such as photocopying, scanning, access to internet resources, online Journals, e-books e-learning are some of the special features. There is a separate audio-visual room, computer section.

Central Research Laboratory: 

Research should be an integral part of the training and education of health care professionals. The Central Research Laboratory at Sri Lakshmi Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences is to provide teaching staff, researchers and graduate students with easy access to costly research equipment to investigates and develops new, pioneering methods and alternative treatments to improve health.  We are committed to developing public understanding and involvement in our research programmes and have an active programme of public engagement. The state of the art facilities at SLIMS allow researchers to assist in the development of novel diagnostics, in the identification of new therapeutic targets, and in increasing our understanding of the patho-physiology of communicable and non-communicable diseases.
