The SSIET campus spreads over 50 acres in a beautiful and serene atmosphere ideally suited for technical education. The infrastructure and facilities available on campus are amongst the very best. It is a wholly self-contained campus comprising of everything that students on campus would ever require. Come; see it to believe it.

Hostel

A home away from home provided for both boys and girls separately accommodating 750 boy students and 600 girl students in an area of 13804.The architecturally designed buildings and the surroundings offer a cool, green, pleasant and eco-friendly atmosphere which stimulates positive learning. It provides a lively environment which helps in healthy interaction among the students.

Transport

The College is easily accessible from Tambaram Railway Station by the state operated transport service. In addition, the college owns a fleet of 29 buses and these buses operate along nearly 27 routes in and around Chennai. Our booming transport facilities ensure that our students and staff are able to reach the college in time with utmost ease.

Library

A library is the heart of an academic institution. Our institution encourages all students and staff members to make the best use of the library that has been carefully built up since the inception of the college. The library is housed in a spacious area of 500 sq.m., fully computerized and air-conditioned with Reference Section, Magazine Section and Stack Area. Presently there are more than 35970 books and reference volumes stacked for the benefit of staff and students. There is an established media resource centre. Our library follows the open access system and is encouraging students to browse in the stack area. The library subscribes more than 100 specialized journals, over one third of them being international. We are also a member of INDEST-AICTE Consortium, British Council Library, Anna University Library Constant addition of titles and volumes in all the fields of Engineering, Management, Basic Science and Humanities is the regular feature of our library. Every effort has been made to obtain all titles recommended by the faculty.

Computers

All Computers are high configuration and Campus wide Network, 24 hour's internet facility are available.

Health Care

Document - MOU signed with St.Joseph Hospital.

Canteen

A canteen is functioning within the premises of the college to serve hygienically prepared food to the staff and students. A subsidized mess is also operative in the campus. A separate mess for boys has been provided.
