Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College was established in 1996 with an initial intake of 180 students to serve the cause of technical education in the backward region of Rayalaseema. The College now offers eight B. Tech programs, eight M.Tech programs, MCA Program. AICTE has also accorded permission for 2nd Shift Polytechnic from the academic year 2009-10 and presently five Diploma courses are being offered. Today, Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College is one of the largest, most admired and sought after Institutions in Andhra Pradesh. The College is located in a sprawling campus of about 30 acres, amidst sylvan surroundings with aesthetically built infrastructure.

The College is approved by AICTE and affiliated to JNTU Anantapur. The College has been accorded Autonomous Status by the UGC, New Delhi in 2010-11 which was extended for six years. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into various courses. SVEC believes in extending full support to deserving students who work really hard to accomplish their goals. The college offers scholarships for those deserving merit students who cannot afford to pay the fee. Students belonging to the reservation category – BC, SC, and ST are given concessions. Admission shall be made as per as Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education.

SVEC UG Admission 2024  

Under the UG Admission 2024, the college offers undergraduate program Bachelor of Engineering (BE) with a specialization in Engineering and Technology. B. Tech Admission Pattern follows as 70% of the seats are allotted by the Convener, based on merit in the AP EAMCET and 30% of the seats are earmarked for NRI/ Management candidates. In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted into the second year of B. Tech to the extent of 10% of intake based on merit in the ECET, under lateral entry scheme. Visit the college premises to collect the prospectus and the application form. Fill the form correctly and attach the self-attested photocopies of the following documents. Details regarding course and specialization are given below. 70% of the total seats are allocated on the basis of the merit list generated by the EAMCET/ AP ICET examination result. The remaining 30% of seats come under the NRI/ Management quota. Applications for admission to the university courses can be submitted through online mode. SVEC UG Admission - Eligibility, Fees, Admission Details

Candidates satisfying the eligibility conditions given below as on the last date of submission of application are eligible to apply. 

SVEC B. Tech Admission 2024

The minimum qualification for admission into the first year of the B. Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10+2) conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects. Admissions to the College are made along with the other Engineering Colleges in the State through a common entrance test (EAMCET) conducted by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. Admission to B.Tech program is done through a merit list generated on the basis of the EAMCET examination conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. 80% of the seats are filled on the basis of the EAMCET merit list and the remaining 20% intake is reserved under the category of Management/ NRI quota. In the case of B.Tech admissions, the seats are divided into government quota, management quota, and NRI quota. 70 % of the total seats are allocated on the basis of merit list generated by EAMCET whereas remaining seats are reserved for students under management quota and NRI quota collectively. AP-EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) is an entrance examination for engineering aspirants aiming to study at one of the prestigious colleges present in the state of Andhra Pradesh. This state-level examination is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. The selection criteria are AP-EAMCET scores. An application form can be obtained through the college website and fill in all the relevant information. The applicant should follow the steps of instruction provided and submit the duly filled-in applications along with the supporting documents within the stipulated time.

SVEC Diploma Admission 2024

Admission to Diploma requires the candidate to have minimum qualification for admission to the first year of the Diploma course is a pass in the 10th conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized as equivalent. Admissions to the College are made along with the other Engineering Colleges in the state through a common entrance test (CEEP) conducted by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. Any student who has passed the 10+2 examination conducted by Board of Secondary Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh or equivalent examination can apply for Diploma courses provided at the institute. Candidates seeking admission to diploma courses available in the second shift of polytechnic college at SVEC should have passed 10th examination conducted by the government of Andhra Pradesh or should have passed an equivalent examination. The seats will be awarded on the basis of the CEEP examination conducted by the government of Andhra Pradesh. CEEP or Andhra Pradesh State Polytechnic Entrance Exam is a state-level examination conducted by State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh for candidates willing to pursue diploma courses. The examination can be given in both offline as well as online mode. The selection process is the CEEP merit list.

SVEC PG Admission 2024

Admission in any branch of engineering with valid GATE score or eligibility at PGECET. In the case of M.Tech admissions, the seats are allocated on the basis of the PGCET or GATE merit list only. For applying for M.Tech courses, the candidate must have completed a B.Tech degree from any University. The admissions are awarded on the basis of PGCET/ GATE results. The candidates who have obtained a passing certificate of Intermediate (10 + 2) examination conducted by Government of Andhra Pradesh. The merit list of EAMCET is considered while providing admission.

SVEC PG Admission - Eligibility, Fees, Admission Details

Candidates seeking admission to M.Tech and MCA courses should register themselves online through the official AP-PGECET and AP-ICET website, respectively. A processing fee must also be deposited by the aspiring candidates while submitting the applications online through the official website. Candidates satisfying the eligibility conditions given below as on the last date of submission of application are eligible to apply. Passing the qualifying examination after the last date of submission of the application shall not be considered. The selection process is merit-based. 

SVEC M. Tech Admission 2024

The minimum qualification for admission to the first year of the M.Tech course is a pass in B.Tech/ B.E. conducted by any University or any other examination recognized as equivalent. Admissions to the College are made along with the other Engineering Colleges in the state through a common entrance test (PGECET/ GATE). Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP-PGECET) is conducted by Andhra University. The selection for the M. Tech course is the AP-PGECET merit list.  Andhra Pradesh ICET is an entrance examination conducted by Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati on behalf of APSCHE and the test centers are allocated on first come first serve basis.

SVEC MCA Admission 2024

The candidates willing to apply for the MCA course must hold a Bachelor's degree from any university. The results of ICET are taken into consideration while selecting candidates. MCA Admission pattern is as follows. 70% of the seats are allotted by the Convener based on merit in the ICET along with 30% of the seats are earmarked for NRI/ Management candidates. The selection process for MCA is AP-ICET merit li. For MCA admissions, the seat division is similar to that of the B.Tech courses. 30 % of the total seats are reserved for NRI quota and management quota whereas remaining seats are assigned on the basis of the entrance examination, ICET. For MCA, the merit list generated by ICET is taken into consideration.
