Different courses at Sri Balaji University Pune have different admission processes. The admission process for the major courses offered at the institute is listed below.

• For BBA/MBA, the admission process involves a brief interaction session followed by a PI. Both the entrance exam and merit in the qualifying exam occupy 50-50% weightage.
• The admission process for a Ph.D. involves the candidates to appear for SBUP-PET.
• However, the students who qualify for UGC NET (JRF)/ UGC-CSIR NET (JRF)/ SET/ GATE/ SLET have to appear for an interview/viva.
• Students obtaining 50% in the entrance test shall be qualified.
• The Entrance Test syllabus shall consist of 50% of research methodology, and 50% shall be subject-specific.
• Admission to MCA is based on an online entrance exam SBEST by Sri Balaji University, Pune, followed by a Personal Interview conducted by a panel separately. The scores of other competitive exams, such as CAT/MAT/XAT/MH-CET, are also accepted. The merit list is drawn based on interview scores and entrance exam scores.
