Eligibility Criteria for MBBS
- The applicant seeking admission at Devaraj University should have qualified in second PUC or 10+2 or equivalent examination recognized by State/Central Government with Physics, Chemistry, Biology with a minimum of 50% marks (40% for SC/ST and OBC) with English as a compulsory subject to be considered eligible for admission.
- If the applicant seeking admission at Devaraj University are appearing for the prescribed qualification and expecting the above percentage of marks, they are eligible to apply for admission process.
- The applicant seeking admission at Devaraj University should complete 17 years of age to be considered eligible.
Application Process for MBBS
Step1: The applicant seeking admission at Devaraj University will first need to register for Uni-GAUGE EMeD at its official website with the necessary details.
Step2: The applicant seeking admission at Devaraj University should have a unique ID Proof that they will be using throughout the application process and upload the same on the application.
Step3: Upload the photo in JPEG format which should be should be less than 80 kb and should be of 30mm*45mm dimension and the signature in less than 80 kb with 35 x 80 mm dimensions. The eligible applicant should also upload their Father/Guardian's signature with size less than 80 kb and 35 x 80 mm dimensions.
Step 4: Eligible applicant should select the test city from the available list of cities.
Step 5: Pay the application Fee: Rs. 1500 either
- Online through Net Banking, Credit Card and Debit Card
- Offline through Bank Challan at any branch of Axis Bank
Step 6: Eligible applicants should ensure that online application form is filled properly with all complete details. Click on “SAVE” button and re- verify all the particulars in the application form before clicking on SUBMIT button.
For Admission to Devaraj University:
- The applicant seeking admission at Devaraj University has to apply separately to the university along with the downloaded Uni-GAUGE test scorecard and the prescribed documents.
- The applicant seeking admission at Devaraj University can obtain the Application from the University website
- The applicant seeking admission at Devaraj University is required to take printout out of the application form. Attach a copy of the Demand Draft for the purpose an of application fee of Rs. 1500 drawn in favour of "The Registrar, Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education & Research, Kolar” payable at Kolar.
Enclosures to be attached:
- Copy of identity proof or date of birth certificate duly attested by Gazetted officer from the eligible applicant.
- Copy of class 10th and class 12th certificate from the eligible applicant.
- Category and Income certificate (if applicable) from the eligible applicant.
- 6 copies of identical colour photographs. You should mention the Application number on the back side of the photograph.
- Copy of Demand Draft for the application fee from the eligible applicant.
- Fill in the Application form with the necessary details. Submit the duly filled in application form in A4 size envelope, along with required documents, in the post or by a person, to the following address:

Admission Process for MBBS
- The applicant seeking admission at Devaraj University will be selected on the basis of Undergraduate Engineering Medical and Dental i.e., Uni-GAUGE EMeD examination conducted by ERA Foundation.
- The Exam will be conducted online. It consists of only one paper of 3 hours duration. The questions will be from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with each subject having 60 questions, with 1 mark for every correct question and no negative marking.
- The applicant seeking admission at Devaraj University must secure not less than 50% marks in aggregate as well as in individual subjects for general category, and 40% in aggregate and 50% in individual subjects in the case of SC, ST and OBC category in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects in the exam to be considered eligible.
- The mock tests for the exam are also available on the Uni-GAUGE website.

Eligibility Criteria for MD, MS & PG Diploma
- For Indian nationals: applicants seeking admission into SDUU should meet all requirements stipulated by the Medical Council of India. Applicant should have successfully passed their MBBS – qualifying examination by an institute recognized by MCI and must have completed your internship.
- Applicants seeking admission at SDUU should have obtained registration with the Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Council(s) on acquiring MBBS degree to be eligible.
- Applicants seeking admission at SDUU should have secured a minimum of 50% for general category and 45% for SC/ST category in their MBBS degree to be eligible.
- For Indian Nationals with Foreign University Degrees: should have completed MBBS and should be eligible as per provisions of IMC Act 1956(as amended) and Screening Test Regulations 2002. Applicants seeking admission should also be registered by Medical Council of India.
- For Foreign Nationals seeking admission: applicants seeking admission should be a duly registered medical practitioner, with the concerned authority, in their own country from where they have obtained your basic medical qualification.
Application Process MD, MS & PG Diploma
For Uni-GAUGE PGMD Exam:
Step1: Applicants seeking admission at SDUU will first need to register for Uni-GAUGE PGMD at its official website with the necessary details.

Step 6: Ensure that Online Application Form is filled properly with all complete details. Click on “SAVE” button and re- verify all the particulars in the application form before clicking on SUBMIT button.
For Admission to the University:
- Eligible applicants seeking admission at SDUU have to apply separately to the university along with the downloaded Uni-GAUGE test scorecard and the prescribed documents.
- Eligible applicants seeking admission at SDUU can obtain the Application only from the University website.
- Take a printout of the Application form. Fill in the form with the necessary details.
- Attach a copy of the Demand Draft for the purpose of an Application fee of Rs. 500 drawn in favour of "The Registrar, Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education & Research, Kolar” payable at Kolar. Write your name and Application number at the back of the DD.
Enclosures to be attached:.
- A copy of identity proof or date of a birth certificate duly attested by Gazetted officer of the eligible applicant.
- A copy of graduation certificate and marks sheets of the eligible applicant.
- Category and Income certificate (if applicable) of the eligible applicant.
- 5 copies of identical color photographs of the eligible applicant. The eligible applicant should mention the application number on the backside of the photograph.
- A copy of Demand Draft for the application fee of the eligible applicant.
- An applicant seeking admissions should use an A4 size envelope to send the application and super scribe the envelope at the top with "Online Application form for Admission to Post Graduate Medical Degree / Diploma courses".
Admission Process for MD , MS & PG Diploma in Medical
- The eligible applicant will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the Uni-GAUGE PGMD Examination which will be conducted online. It is conducted at an all-India level across 67 centres.
- The exam will be for 3 hours. It will consist of 180 multiple choice questions. It consists of two sections. Section 1 will have 120 questions as Direct MCQ and Section 2 with 60 questions as Clinical vignettes linked MCQs. Every question carries one mark and there will be no negative marking for a wrong answer. The mock tests for the exam are also available on the Uni-GAUGE website
- The eligible applicant seeking admission must secure a minimum of 50% marks in the examination for general category and 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC category to be eligible for admission.
Reservation Criteria
- The reservation criteria will be as per the norms prescribed by the Government of India.
- One seat, either in the subjects of Anatomy or Forensic Medicine, will be reserved for Government Quota
