Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech:
The Candidate shall have passed the second year Pre-University or XII standard or Equivalent examination held preceding the entrance test with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:- Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Biology, computer Science and has secured not less that forty-five percent (45%) of the aggregate marks in optional subjects with English as one of the language for admission to Engineering & Technology courses.
Provided further that the minimum marks for the purpose of eligibility shall be forty percent (40%) of aggregate in optional subjects in case of candidates belonging to the ** Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and other backward classes specified in the relevant Government order for the purpose of reservation in respect of Engineering and Technology Course.
The relaxation in academic eligibility is extended only to Karnataka candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and other Backward Classes.

Application Process for B.Tech:
Candidates belonging to the state of Karnataka can avail an admission into the institution in three ways as follows:
- Through the Common Entrance Test(CET) conducted by the Karnataka Education Authority(KEA) which is the state education board.This entrance test allows only the students of the state of Karnataka to get an admission into the institution.
- Through the COMED-K(Consortium of Medical Engineering Dental Colleges in Karnataka) entrance test for both Karnataka and non-Karnataka candidates.
- Through the management or institutional quota reserved by the institute for both Karnataka and non-Karnataka candidates.
Admission Process for B.Tech:
The very basic requirement for any candidate seeking admission into the institution is that he/she should have qualified the eligibility criteria set by the institution.
Further, the candidate should have to appear for either of the KCET/COMED-K entrance examination.
The candidates can also attain an admission into the institution by the institute quota(management quota) if any seats remain unallocated.
After going through the counseling process of either of the KCET/COMED-K entrance examination, the candidates are expected to lock in or report back to the institution respectively.

Academics & Faculty : The daily routine is good class timings are as usual. Quality and method of teaching are good.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Hostels are provided separately for boys and girls.
Clubs & Associations : There are many student societies. All festivals are celebrated. College life is awesome

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Candidate must clear the KCET / COMEDK UGET exam and must have passed the 12th from the recognized institute to get admission in this college. The cutoff rank must be below 70,000 for Mechanical.
Placements & Internships : I had done my internship at BHEL. I don’t know much about the companies taking part in the recruitment drive.
Fees & Scholarships : My course fee is INR 73,000 per annum. Scholarships like EPASS is available for the students. The educational loan is required and it can be availed from SBI.
Academics & Faculty : My class timing is from 9 am to 4.30 pm. The quality and method of teaching are good. The overall experience in college was good. We have well-experienced faculties.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : We have hostels only for girls. The hostel fee is INR 5000 per month. Food provided by them is not bad and PG's are available outside the campus. Quality of Classrooms, Labs, Libraries, dining halls is good and we have wifi facility.
Clubs & Associations : Many societies like SME, NSS are on our campus. Tech fets, cultural fest, sports day are conducted annually. The college life, in general, was good.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I wrote 2nd puc exam passed with distinction and got admission here. I also wrote KCET exam. The Cutoff was 2000 when I joined the college.
Placements & Internships : I have not done any internship. The top company like Hp, L&T, Video, etc visits and selects the students they pay around INR 4 lakhs p.a. The alumni network is good.
Fees & Scholarships : The fee is INR 90,000 p.a. The scholarship like epass and vidyasiri are available and interested and eligible students apply online and receive the scholarship. Loans depend on financial condition of a student and loans are easily available from banks
