Placements & Internships : We go for industrial visits & hospital trainings. Companies including infosys, acabes, full creative, edveon etc come for placement. Salary package is maximum 5 lakhs per annum. The college offers 100% placement for all.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The candidate should be 12th pass and have a background in bio-maths, bio-computer or maths-computer. No entrance exam is there. Direct admission. No defined cut-off.
Fees & Scholarships : Course fee is Rs.60,000 per year (tution fee). for hostel : 56,000 per year Scholarships include BC/MBC scholarship, SC/ST scholarship, first graduate scholarship, merit scholarship. More than 150 students get scholarship. We can apply for loans from all banks.
Academics & Faculty : Daily routine is well and good. Superb teaching. They train you very well.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Per year fee is Rs.56,000. Good food is there. For hostelites, food is completely free. A canteen is also available inside the college. Infrastructure is very good.
Clubs & Associations : Separate clubs including readers club, fine arts, gaming, maths and science club, developers club, farming and gardening etc. Festivals are arranged in a grand manner. Life is good here and they make you a disciplined individual.

Placements & Internships : I did my internship in the third year of engineering. I got an offer letter from a manufacturing company. My starting salary is INR 1,44,000 per annum.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The admission procedure is quite simple. It is based on the cutoff. There is no entrance exam for engineering students. However, they need above 160 cut off for admission.
Fees & Scholarships : Sri Shanmugha College of Engineering and Technology, [SSCET] Salem Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 88,000. There are government scholarships available. Around 65 students out of 80 got the scholarship. The college arranges loans if required.
Academics & Faculty : The class timing is from 8.30 to 5.30. The teaching faculty is excellent.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are two hostels. The hostel fee is INR 7,000 per month. The PG rent is around INR 3,000 without food. Only one PG is available. The college provides good food. The classrooms, lab facility, etc., are excellent.
Clubs & Associations : The main clubs are JCI, student welfare, etc., and the main festivals are SAE sports day and annual day. College life is memorable.
