SAITM Placement Cell

St. Andrews Training and Placement Cell is well organized and structured. The cell caters to all the training requirements in-house and handles the placement process for the various organizations visiting the campus. The training wing allows at least 60 hours of training per semester under the core competency program to equip the student for employment. The placement office at St Andrews Institute of Technology and Management Gurgaon is equipped with interview rooms, discussion and instruction chambers, and conferencing facilities. Its major functions are training through Core competency, behavioral and soft skills training, arranging aptitude classes and tech courses, and getting and managing campus interview visits. 

SAITM Placement Procedure

The training and placement cell at SAITM takes care of all aspects from aligning organizations, conducting various rounds, coordinating for results, and coordinating with students for joining. The procedure followed at SAITM for placements is as follows.

• Invitations of the onset of the Placements with the tentative itinerary of the placement process with the brochure are sent to the company.
• After a company expresses interest in participation, the company is requested to send the JD along with other necessary details.
• The companies are lined up as per the availability of the slots.
• PPT is arranged for the students where students can gauge the profile of the organization and the work being offered.
• Any pre-requisite of online/ offline tests is conducted as per organizational requirements.
• Based on student profiles and/ or test performances, a short list of students is provided and other relevant rounds are conducted.
• The company submits a list of finally selected students along with a waitlist at the end of the day/ slot.
• Once a student has been offered a job, he/ she is out of the placement process. This complies with SAITM's One Student, One job Policy.
