Placements & Internships : No there were no internships during my course of study. I dont know about current scenario .Banks and fincial institutions hire from our campus like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Catholic syrian bank, KPMG, ICICI Bank etc and many are placed. The average salary offered is INR 3.5 lakhs per annum. Almost 40% of students are placed and almost 30% are interested for higher studies from rest of them. Alumini association is strong as it is an old college with lot of legacy.

Academics & Faculty : The class starts at 10 AM and go on till 4 PM. The college is an autonomous college with government aid. As an autonomous college its exams n syllabus are done by college itself, which offers correct exams and projects and result publication of time. It is the best college in Mahatma Gandhi University. It has A+ accrediation by NAAC. It has the second best B.COM and best commerce department. The teachers are well qualified and their method of teaching is excellent. The college offers good freedom for students and there is no uniform. Its a student friendly college with a lot of cultural activities. I can say as an alumini of this college, those days were the best of my life.Thank you SBC.

Fees & Scholarships : If you are joining for regular course then fees is very low. It is around INR 3000 per year. A lot of scholarships are provided by the government itself. If you are an SC/ST student the fees will be even less and more scholarshipoppurtunities. If you opt Self financing course then you may sometimes need loan and they are easily available. Or else no need of loans. 

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Atleast six hostels are there with good living condition. Hostel fee is INR 3000 to 5000 per month. PGs are available and its profitable if you share the rooms. Even though it is an old college its infrastructure is very good. Good labs and have THE BEST LIBRARY IN KERALA. There is wifi but its for MBA students.

Clubs & Associations : Arts club is very strong, and are champions in many cultural fests. There is a good film club in the campus. Coming to festivals SB has the best in its arsenal. Those events are well managed by our students and teachers together and the management gives full support for everything. Overall the life in SB COLLEGE was very free and tension free. We get a lot of opportunities for showing our talents.
