Surana College Admission 2020

Surana College established by GDA foundation in 1995, is one of the institutions in Bangalore in India, offering education in Arts, Science, IT, Commerce & Management. The college is located near Southend Circle in Bangalore City, Karnataka State. Surana College offers BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, and BCA courses under several specializations. B.A. is offered under three different subjects, whereas, B.Sc. is offered with two different subjects. 

Surana College UG Admission - Eligibility, Fee, Admission Criteria

The application process for admission to UG courses starts in June and is based on the merit of the students at the 10+2 level. Students who are shortlisted for admission are called up for the Interview round. All the UG courses offered are of 3 years duration. BA, B.Com, and BBA have a tuition fee of INR 1000 per annum with an additional of INR 1,280 including caution deposit and special fees.

Surana College PG Admission - Eligibility, Fee, Admission Criteria

Admission to the PG courses starts in July and eligible candidates shortlisted in the Provisional Rank List are intimated for an interview. Based on the candidate’s performance in the interview, the candidate gets selected for the course. The total seats offered under postgraduate are 240. Master of Science [M.Sc] has a fee of INR 3,045 per annum. Bachelor of Library and Information Science [B.Lib.I.Sc] has a tuition fee of INR 3,625 for 1 year and Master of Library and Information Science [M.Lib.I.Sc] has a tuition fee of INR 3,625 for 2 years.

The aspiring candidates will be looked for their conduct and behavior along with academic merit. Every aspirant will be subjected to counseling before the application is issued. An entrance test will be conducted as and where necessary. Candidates can duly fill in the Application Form. • The candidates applying for government quota for MCA must appear for PGCET conducted by the Government of Karnataka. The candidates applying under management quota shall appear for the College level entrance test or National Level Entrance test or Karnataka K-MAT test.
• Bangalore University quota seats are filled by the centralized counseling held by the University. Candidates are suggested to check the university website (www.bangalore university.ac.in) and notifications in leading newspapers to get the schedule of the admission process. All admissions are subjected to approval from Bangalore University (BU). Original documents will be submitted to authorities concerned at BU for the admission approval process. Students from Bangalore University and outside universities are also eligible for admissions through Bangalore University.

Note: Only students who have applied to Bangalore University are eligible for seats through this quota. The decision of the Admission Committee is final and binding in all matters related to admission process and selection Admission through Bangalore University Quota.
