• Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat, an Institute of National Importance is one of the NIT’s operated under the guidance of MHRD-Govt. of India since its inception in 1961 (known as Regional Engineering College earlier). Admissions to various UG programs in SVNIT are processed on the basis of JEE (2013 onwards) results, whereas GATE score is the basis for admission in PG program.

• SVNIT is one of the leading technical Institutions disseminating globally accepted education and relevant research output. Apart from Six Under Graduate Programmes [B.Tech.] and Seventeen Post Graduate Programmes [M.Tech], the institute also offers Three 05-Years Integrated M.Sc. courses. Institute also offers Ph.D. in various disciplines of Engineering and Sciences.
